Final Weekend Number
Well, not quite final.
We're writing this a few hours before midnight (we gotta get some sleep for Monday) and the totals as of 7 PM are:
- 8 dead, 34 wounded
Five hours to go....we'll update this in the morning at some point. Don't worry Yollie - we won't use a Department computer.
UPDATE: Okay, so there are two weekend numbers - the actual weekend and the "Don't Demonize" Monday, brought to you by the only trusted source for crime numbers, HeyJackass.com.
The Don't Demonize total is 10 dead, 63 leaking. That number was achieved by two unscheduled mass shooting events in the crime prone areas of the city.
Unless we specify a Monday carryover, we usually chart the stats from close of business Friday until midnight Sunday into Monday. In that case, the weekend total would be 8 and 40, not too far off the over/under we set at 12 and 42.
We'll leave it to the regular degenerate gamblers to put their own conditions on their betting parameters.

The weekend start had a mass shooting in Austin. Funny it was never on the national news.
We can and we have to do better to get those numbers higher

In central Texas a junteenth mass shooting….14 shot…2 wearing toe tags during a junteenth parade/celebration.
And guess what…news outlets describe the shooter as…male black, 20’s slim build, white hoodie, short dreads

Dang.....too bad you stop at midnight. Eleven people were wounded in two mass shootings that took place roughly an hour apart Monday morning in Chicago's Humboldt Park and West Englewood neighborhoods.1245 AM and 145 am.
We are better than that there has to be quite a bit more numbers

After each summer weekend, Chicago becomes a little less dangerous.
I hope the numbers go up and more get deleted before Fall.

The "week end" should not end until sunrise on Monday. Sunday night is a good night for shooting.
Do these numbers include the 2 group shootings in 011, one almost in front of the station?

We were looking pretty weak as of Sunday night but the teams from Englewood and Humboldt Park stepped up to fill the gap delivering an even dozen in only 70 minutes.
Thanks to their efforts, the first 6 hours of Monday racked up 2 KIAs and a whopping 21 maimed.

Hey jackass says weekend ends at 6am Monday and shows 10 dead, 63 wounded. I don’t know if the department uses same end time
WGN has it as 67 shot, 8 fatally from Friday 6 pm to Monday 6 am.
Outstanding numbers. But Mayor BLM Brandon is not concerned as today he was announcing forming the Reparation Committee to give away more of our money. Give till it hurts and then some!

For there to be a society with no criwhminals, there must be no humans.
Where there are humans, there will be laws.

Even a society of one, single human will not be free of criminalz.
