Where did the ladder come from?
No one knows. The feebs are just blaming the local cops for not securing the rooftop. However, the Secret Service named it as a "security risk" days beforehand, but seems to have done ZERO follow up. And like it or not, they are where the buck stops in terms of venue security.
Anyone who claims we're picking on fellow law enforcement, if the agency is incapable of defending an after-action critique - especially after an incident this startlingly bad - then they aren't a law enforcement agency - they're a political job factory.

Just imagen if an off duty CPD officer happen to engage and terminate the threat before Trump got shot. COPA would try to investigate, JB-AKA-FATASS WOULD somehow take credit, CONEHEAD woulds demonize the officer and Crimesha would try to prosecute far from her jurisdiction. Instead of focusing on what is felt as the incompetence of the female agents, focus DEI on the top, the unqualified leader, as well as probably the unqualified training staff. The whole operation of SS and FBI appeared to be a joke or more likely, aware of a set up for an assassination. The police sniper on the roof was directly in line of sight of someone who stood out against the white building and was visible to the crowd. The one in front even looked away when the shooting started, then looked back to take out the shooter. This was a total government setup to get rid of their problem with a viable candidate to grandpa and the whole world saw it.

anyone who was a Marine knows they qualify at the 500 yard mark, with a rifle without a scope. Many can hit the bullseye (which is smaller or about the same size as a human head) from the prone position. 130 yards is super easy.

Those videos of people yelling to the cops that "somebody is on the roof with a gun" are pretty damning. But I read a receipt for a ladder from Home Depot was found among the shooters possessions.

Not an outdoor 2-3 section extension ladder.

With temporary replacements moved into Trump's security detail. It would seem there was a breakdown in communications between the regulars and the temp's. this is no excuse but a symptom of what has happened to the SS in recent years. One of the old time rules with the SS is each person in the personal detail had to be at least a tall as their principal. Did notice all of the ladies in Trump's detail. I am not saying they were incompetent but they had one problem that no amount of training can overcome. It does no good if because of your height all you can protect is from the waist down.
