- A second chance is
being offered for young people in south suburban Sauk Village. A court
focused on restorative justice has opened. It's an expansion of a program in the city, with a goal of reducing the number of repeat offenders.
"We let the participants see the decision they made, there can be better decision-making and that they can restore not only within their community, but everybody else's community," said Andrea Boler, a case manager with the Cook County Restorative Justice Program.
Next month, a peace circle will include young people, ages 18-26, accused of non-violent crimes. It's part of Cook County's restorative justice program in Sauk Village.
No consequences and a "peace circle"?

You want to reduce recidivism? Hit them hard on their first offenses. This second, third and so on chance bullshiite and coddling of juvenile offenders has been in effect since the 1980s. Since then juvenile offenders have gotten more violent, more likely to reoffend and younger. But, hey, let’s pretend it’s working because we are liberals and we can never concede we aren’t brilliant and the most compassionate humans ever!

Is Andrea Boler unfamiliar with the English language? That quote is not actually an intelligible sentence. I guess an unintelligible quote fits in well with an idiotic idea like a peace circle. Why not just call it a circle jerk, since that's probably just as effective? Replace peace circles with firing squads and maybe you can "restore justice."

More insanity and the “gaslighting” of the citizens and crime victims. I read the propaganda addressing the Restorative Justice Community Court of Cook County. One could qualify if charged with a non violent felonies and misdemeanors. The RJCC handbook and brochure do not explain what non violent felonies and misdemeanors qualify.
Below are some excerpts from their publications:
The person harmed (dumb victim) will have the opportunity to express how they were harmed and can ask the person charged (criminal defendant) what is needed to heal from the incident. The person charged will have the opportunity to express their pain.
Steps of Process: Welcoming by Court, Orientation, Pre Circle Interview, First Peace Circle, Peace Circle, Repair of Harm Agreement, Goals, Graduation, A Time To Celebrate & Case Dismissed.
As you can see any victim who participates is a fool for doing so. The goal of having a person arrested is to seek justice and make the criminal accountable and responsible for the crime. The same goes for the police when they enforce laws. Why even arrest criminals then if it is a Peace Circle Jerkoff?
The Democrats are eroding the criminal justice system by making a mockery of it.
So the question is, will State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s case against the guy whom allegedly threw the root beer at her be handled in this Restorative Justice Court? It seems like it would be a perfect case to be handled there because of her views on crime and redemption. Maybe some fellow prosecutors and judges nudge her in this direction because we don’t want to give the public there is a two tier justice system in Cook County!
Fuck that peace circle bullshit. Bring classes of kids down to the Courthouse, let them sit and watch a trial.
Let them come back for the sentencing hearing too.

They need to all get wrist bands that say WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) and then they need to be taught that their life choices will have repercussions in this world and the next. No mention of the parents of the offenders being part of the "Peace Circle." Why not? It will give them the opportunity to see and hear from the people their little darlings victimized. Let them see and hear first hand how the actions of their kids have impacted innocent people. Involve the parents in "Restorative Justice." After all, It Takes A Village.... Seems like I've heard that somewhere before.

Some people wonder why these offenders keep offending well because a peace circle isn't a punishment it is something they just tune out and carry on being a dick
Here is my restorative justice encounter from years ago.
I just left the station going home and little Ray Ray threw a handful of rocks at my truck, cracking the windshield. I jumped out and gave chase and grabbed him just as a third watch car coming out of roll call drove by, they processed the yute and before the court date rolled around someone from juvenile court contacted me and asked if they could send it to some type of peer review because it was his first case, I agreed. The date of the hearing came and I was on duty, so I appeared in uniform. Some female flaming lib from the program told me I couldn’t appear in uniform because everyone involved would feel intimidated. I told her I couldn’t strip there so I guess the case will have to go back before a judge. Judge found him guilty and his ma-ma had to pay to replace my windshield. I tried it their way, but liberals can never leave well enough alone and always push things too far.
The saying,”there is nothing new under the sun” is true. So much for their “restorative justice” program. I got my justice.
