A Glimmer of Hope?
Milwaukee turned out to be....not that bad (protest wise):
So far, there has been a minimal presence of protesters at the RNC in Milwaukee.
Other than a large march Monday by a leftist group, the Coalition to March on the RNC, there has only been only a smattering of small and scattered protests through the first three days of the convention.
Heading into the convention, Milwaukee and Secret Service officials had laid plans for two “First Amendment zones” blocks from Fiserv Forum, where protesters could gather. (Protest organizers and progressive groups in Milwaukee were critical of the plan, saying the zones were too far away from the convention).
But the two zones have been almost completely empty through the first three days of the convention. For multiple hours each day, both Zeidler Union Square Park and Haymarket Square Park have been totally barren.
This is after the Milwaukee mayor granted every single protest application with zero questions asked and minimal information given.
You can bet that Conehead, Larritorious and the Secret Service are hoping this is the case here in town, even with the left tearing itself apart and rumors of an "open convention" subverting the will of the democrat voters.
It seems the biggest threat to democracy is....the democrat party.

Moving the protest garbage far from the convention seems to be the solution. Not worth protesting if you can't disturb the conventioneers...
The “protesters” know trying to bring change to the Republican Party is a waste of their time.
The “protesters” know the Democrats will always give in to them. The goal is to bring the Party into the Marxist, Progessive, Socialists realm. They know how to act like spoiled children to get what they want. And with the milk toast Mayor and the rest of the politicians, Chicago is the easiest place to take a dump. I can see the BLM Cone walking in solidarity with some of these groups. With all the turmoil in the Party it will be a $hitshow but to what extent remains to be seen.

I'm pretty sure protesting that event wouldn't change a thing in the Republican party, why waste the effort? The SEIU however, will have busloads sent in for you, there's power at stake.

In other words, who gets what? Who "sponsors" who & where? Who gets the $$$ from contracts, statutes, and no-bid "emergencies" (read- illegal alien crisis)? Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Just heard DHS agents were used in place of properly trained secret serv agents at the Trump rally. Waiting for the head of DHS to claim the rally was secure (just like the u.s. border is secure.
Also would not be surprised if the DNC security will be supplemented by newly hired DEI illegal immigrants.

It’s a shame that mental and physical exhaustion from working in extreme heat nonstop has now set in. The lack of days off has finally hit most of my watch. Thank you very much to our Dr’s who actually care. The only known cure is to shut us down, if you are feeling sick, exhausted, major headaches and hopeless SEEK help before you are thrown to the wolves and could lose it all. This leads to ulcers, suicides, major meltdowns and traffic accidents and injuries. If the city doesn’t have sufficient manpower it’s on them they are treating you like slaves in Chinese Factories.

BREAKING: Senator Josh Hawley says whistleblowers have come forward, alleges the Biden DHS assigned “unprepared and inexperienced personnel” to Trump who weren’t even Secret Service.
“Whistleblowers who have direct knowledge of the event have approached my office. According to the allegations, the July 13 rally was considered to be a loose' security event,” Hawley said in a letter to Mayorkas.
“For example, detection canines were not used to monitor entry and detect threats in the usual manner. Individuals without proper designations were able to gain access to backstage areas.”
“Department personnel did not appropriately police the security buffer around the podium and were also not stationed at regular intervals around the event's security perimeter.”

They said the SS came in like Royal Assholes would not partner with them, it was like they were slumming. They were not even given radios that worked on the master frequency the SS was using so there was no way they could call a crash! radio GUN GUN GUN shout out. The Secret service uses frequencies somewhere in the 160MhZ range, You are not going to get them from me, they use P25 encryption. Unless the SS service hands out radios with their Encrypted protocol local law enforcement is out of luck communicating directly with then SS.
Australian Sky News has the best coverage of the whole thing. In one of their shows they had Australian security people looking at it. They pointed out one overweight,short female agent, He observed, "what good is it to hold the President around the waist it is the head and chest that need to be protected. They were than outraged by her incompetence in trying to re-holster her pistol, she finally gave up trying. It is appalling the apparent ignorance of what a modern rifle can do. There are far more HAMAS and HEZBOLLAH supporters in/near Chicago than in Milwaukee. They present danger that goes far beyond rowdy street protests. If the feds were not busy monitoring parents who oppose boys in their daughters' dressing rooms at School Board meetings, arresting 75 year old wheelchair bound women who pray at abortion clinics and consulting with the nationwide network of leftist informants supplying names of Jan 6 election fraud protesters, they might help avoid possible serious tragedy. Democrats encourage riots. FJB mentioned the summer of 2020 riots in Portland,Detroit,Chicago and other democrat cities were peaceful protests. Many denied funerals for family members, convicted felon, dude pointed a loaded 45 at belly of pregnant woman during a robbery was considered a victim to democrats.

Enough already. We absolutely do not. That region is filled with animosity and hate that goes back centuries before the USA was even founded. The history of religious warfare, ethnic cleansing and territory disputes is mind-boggling. We are borrowing money to give to Israel.
