Pay Your Bills

What is it with aldercreatures and the connected relatives never paying their bills

  • Mayor Brandon Johnson’s administration doesn’t have to look far to find homeowners with delinquent water bills owed to City Hall. Two of them are City Council members, a Chicago Sun-Times investigation found.

Two more of their colleagues paid up only after Sun-Times reporters asked about their overdue bills.

One water bill deadbeat is the brother of Alfonzo “Randy” Conner, who heads the city Department of Water Management.

Does that make for awkward Thanksgiving dinner conversation? "Hey bro, you know you missed your water bill again this year?"

One might think that an investigative reporter might have dug this up years ago - like when Luis Gutierrez was paying a fraction of what his neighbors were paying in property taxes for years. Where's the effort by news interns trying to become the next Cuck Goudie?

City council members- I get the outrage at those unpaid water bills, but unless you hooked up your relatives with a sweet city job, none of us can be responsible for “deadbeat” relatives. I’d have never made it thru my career if my deadbeat relatives unpaid bills became public fodder.

Replaced by AI. That, and the new generation, Hell, the last generation too, are clueless.

Decades of twice a year, big chunk of billing.

Then changed to monthly, via the meterings.

Yet, not metered customers also get billed monthly, supposedly based on averaged of nearby metered accounts usages.

Realy based on the equation: total incoming from metered billings, determine shortage for covering yearly budget, divide quantity of not metered accounts into shortage = averaged fabricated usage of nearby metered accounts.

Might as well not change the habit of decades, expecting twice a year big bill, by paying 6 months ahead, twice each year, thus receiving monthly billings that say, fo not pay, you have $$$$ credit balance.

With or without metered water service, does anyone really count the times they flush to reduce their metered monthly cost?

There is a simple solution to those who don’t pay their water bill. Shut their water off!!!!!! Why can’t these obtuse elected officials understand this. They can’t claim that it would be inhumane like shutting off the heat in the winter where one might freeze to death. Water is everywhere. Watch how quickly they will go to the store to stock up on bottled water. Or they can go to any public building to fill up their water jugs. Or drive over to the lake and fill up buckets. They just have to make life inconvenient for them. They will get the message and settle up. And they won’t perish from dehydration. These elected deadbeat politicians, especially Mayor Conehead have set a precedent that it’s ok to scam the system. Let everyone else take up the slack in paying more taxes for those who don’t pay their share.

I remember reading on scc during the coronation of St. Floyd celebrations when groot had a division of special operators protecting the groot stye you showed several pictures of G block sealed off from the taxpayers. Then there were drone pics of her house and block. Later commentators said her property tax said her house was small while the pictures showed many large additions. These aerial pictures are used for tax bills, how come they only make these mistakes on Democrat politicians homes. Put up a garage without a permit and the county will find out and nail you. Sooo,if I know this, how come the media and govt watch dogs don't? Gawd I hate this place. Democrats , pay your fare shares bitches !

Chicago does not have "reporters" or "journalists" they are just script readers. Whatever their masters give them to read, they read

Remotely controlled water meters are coming. Already being installed in a lot of cities. You don't pay? ... One click water shut-off.

One nice feature of the new water meters is leak detection, unlike the current water meters that are happy to run up a big water bill when something is leaking.

The commissioner of the Water Dept, serial stalker with a lot of baggage, Is Randy Conner-again. Despite having lost a five million dollar lawsuit, and complaints regarding sexual harassment of subordinates, and being shown the door, he magically gets the water commissioner job back, thanks to his clout heavy cousin, FRED WALLER
