That last homicide was at 0205 hours Monday, so we can't claim that was predicted.
But not a bad guess. Too bad there isn't a sports book organization taking bets.

So much for a crime strategy! heyjackass. Com lists only 18 homicides deference from last year! This year 2024 there are 336 homicides! There is no plan or no strategy! CPD upper leadership is a joke! The population continues to go down in the city but the crime rates change marginally.

Shit I wish there was a sports book option to take the over under shot/killed the over would hit every time …. If it wasn’t for these heavy rains your prediction would of been correct and many more injured or killed

There was a sports book up in NY state that took bets on Chicago homicides. The state shut it down. Racist as they say.
The city has a strategy, the city has a plan, the city has sufficient resources, all hands-are on deck and crime is down. That is the city's weekly/daily mantra. The media loves it. In the meantime, the body count increases as citizens bleed out at curbside, men, women and children are maimed, wounded and living in fear. The same public lie is repeated weekly by Brandumb and Larry with the same horrific results.
Currently 1664 are wounded and 336 souls have perished needlessly on our city streets.
There are no impactful and effective safety plans, just a rehash of last week's safety plan. The only real change is the current date of said plan. That's called progress in a progressive city led by a progressive buffoon named Conehead and supported by a progressive media.
Had a bar near midway used to run a pool every week on how many were killed used strip cards got quite a turn out
