You know, back in the day, we knew enough to keep our mouths shut about favors like these:
- Well nothing like a scholarship kid in my unit with under 3 years OTJ bragging about how she’s being exempt from going to the DNC because the honor guard is requesting her. What does the honor guard even have to do with the DNC!? She made it well known she used to work for a certain alderman and has no shame in bragging about her clout and loves bragging about how she got on the HG. I hope someone in the HG sees this because she will tarnish that group with her bullshit.
I thought the honor guard wasn’t a phone call spot?
All these DEI hires are now ruining good spots and bringing shame everywhere they go. It’s embarrassing.
Between this and the Area 2 Commander keeping the office staff hiding inside during twelve-hour day-off cancelled deployment, it's enough to make you think the whole game is rigged.

Any truth to the rumor that J-Cat has been hiding in Kamala`s basement? I haven’t heard from this know it all in weeks. You think he would be guiding the members during the DNC days off cancelation. This guy has been silent.
Area 5 is hiding people inside also. This is the new department.

In all honesty, unless they put us in buses and take us to a rally or protest, there’s really nothing for third watch and all the other non watch spots to do. There’s only so many cars you can field in the district according to what you have available. In my district there will be at least 100-120 officers with nothing to do other than maybe foot patrol in a park somewhere after being dropped off. When you have third watch and first watch working for 9 hours together and everyone is cancelled that leads to 100+ people per district with nothing to do. Of course they’ll be sitting inside the station. Where else will they be?

CPD is as rigged as disfunctional as its ever been through the passage of time since it feel from a coconut tree. Jajajajaja. We have been fucked since the first day we stepped into that building. I took me years to realise this, back then people kept it ush ush, not a secret any more.
Nothing new same old same old. This has been going on since I got on the job 2 decades ago. District/Area/Headquarters secretaries stay inside, exempt drivers are carried, clouted won’t see DNC. Meritorious!!

On a side note. Can we file a grievance on CAPS, apparently their lazy fat f*cks didn’t get deployed. How about putting “community policing” front row and center. Put those community skills to the test boys and girls.
I’ve never heard people complain and b*tch about having to do their job! This department is a total joke. Take a look at Unit 376, light duty members should be reevaluated REGULARLY! You have people riding that train with no ending. Take a look at this story.. a certain individual in that building who was light duty (and hasn’t seen the street in forever) decided she was going to call for an ambulance after being told she would have to help out at the DNC (obviously passing out water or some basic stuff). Ambulance arrived and she had them dropped her off a couple blocks away so she could easily return to her car and drive home. You can’t make this stuff up!
And we are required to suffer beatdowns, humiliation, a hostile working environment, suffer personal and family issues for these scabs and slugs. Keep right on thinking and enjoying your clouted positions. Know this, you are a scourge on the department, especially during these turbulent times.

How about the tact Sgt in 019 who is consistently finding a way to duck out of actually being with his team for the DnC. So he gives himself “details” on the motor details cause he’s too afraid of actually being a supervisor. #favoredfew
For decades now there has been no "merit" in merit promotions...Now there is no "honor" in Honor guard...See how the leftist democrat extremists change words??? It's all part of their plan to destroy America. Supplant all that is good with evil...and the illiterate masses will follow along...
What about Aja, Fred Waller’s hand picked hungry heffer of a secretary that does nothing in the superintendent’s office like him? Word is that she demanded to be exempt from deployments and after she was told no, she hit the medical to avoid it along with DNC. Why is there almost a dozen people in the superintendent’s office, half of who do nothing all day long. Lead by example Larry all you need is a couple of secretaries, at the most 3. We have beat cars that go unmanned every day. Just look at the sheets in 002, 005, and 006. As for Waller he comes in what maybe 1-2 days a week? Has been absent for three months but still making that loot?
We need help on the streets, every Area and administrative unit should only have 2 officers at that. Scratch that, it should be two civilian secretaries. Why do we need gun carrying secretaries? After the DNC, if we still have a city Larry, you need to do what your predecessors have done and start emptying out HQ’s, all the areas, commanders front offices, CAPS, Erps, and all the fancy units that can be downsized. How about outsourcing the medical section to a professional medical staff not gun carrying officers with 3-5 years otj hiding inside who have access to everyone’s medical files and leaking members personal medical information out. We are so short that it should be an all hands on deck approach and all nonessential inside spots like the awards section, graphic arts, and the mail room could be scaled down or replaced with civilians.
I'm sure they can find a spot for her on the newly formed Parochial School Unit. Since the bosses need to find a place for their side rides now that our own Cook County inmate/ intake public schools don't want them anymore. They're sending them to the Parochial schools that will gladly take the police presence. Upon being accepted into the unit each officer will be issued Department certified kneepads and condoms...
019 Amin is hiding all his Admin too. Sent one to the non-bdu (no front line) team just to keep people from talking.

By far one of the most arrogant people I’ve met on this job. Never have I seen someone stab so many in the back for personal gain. Look at his social media, look at me, look at what I did. Tool with a capital T!

A phone call cannot get you in the Honor Guard. A phone call cannot keep you in the Honor Guard. Several have tried, all have failed.
On top of A2 commander hiding her female admin Sgt., she is also hiding the admins Sgt’s girlfriend. I believe her last spot was as a liaison between homicide docs and victims families. These made up spots need to go. CPD is just a fucking joke now.
She will be gone and so will Fred who’s making that extra bread right after the DNC.
I don’t know if it’s the same guy, but he stares at himself in the window of the station combing his hair like Tony Manero from Saturday Night Fever.
I dont know how the honor guard operates but if they have their own UNIT, location, or take home cars the a phone call is what is needed to join. I might be wrong but every spot on corrupt CPD is for sale.
