Ethic Concerns?

What is it about a$$holes named "Johnson"?

  • As the Chicago Teachers Union pushes hard to finalize a contract with Chicago Public Schools — and on Thursday accused CPS of suddenly dragging its feet — ethical questions about Mayor Brandon Johnson are being raised in a legal filing by CPS CEO Pedro Martinez.

That filing notes that since the mayor, a former teacher, remains on leave from CPS, he will benefit financially from any salary increases being negotiated should he return to a teaching position in the district. Meanwhile on Friday, CPS officials denied that negotiations were slowing down. The two sides ended Friday without a deal and plan to negotiate again on Monday.

A 2023 memo written by CPS’ Chief Talent Officer Ben Felton, attached to the lawsuit filing, raised questions about that arrangement with regard to not only the mayor, but also former Deputy Mayor Jen Johnson (no relation to the mayor). The deputy mayor later told Felton the matter had been discussed with the city’s ethics adviser, who “did not have concerns.”

Well, the "ethics adviser" is obviously compromised .... probably named "Johnson" also. Conehead still maintaining a position of influence (and being influenced by) the CTU is another corruption red flag.

Want to hear a PODCAST with two CPD blowhearts? Check out Sgt Michele Wood get interviewed by retired CPD detective Mike Hammond.

This “ball of fire” sergeant that spends all her time auditioning for reality tv shows and Hollywood stardom must really start to believe her own.

In the first few minutes of the podcast she makes the blanket statement of every detective in the area with more time and experience is just “old and lazy” and she clears the cases. She must be a peach to work for.

The link for anyone interested in this woman’s thoughts on investigations.

The CPS/CTU shitshow gets even better.

Ben Felton is the Chief of CPS Talent and married to a woman he reports to in the Lead Counsel of CPS Law, Ruchi Verma. They combine to make $471K. All in the Famiky is right.

Ben makes $211K after a $40K promotion from Asst. to Chief. While his wifey-poo Ruchi pulls in $260K+ after she was elevated to Lead after mob lawyer Joseph Moriarty resigned last year.

Nepotism complaints were filed with CPS and they were dismissed by Jennifer Chan. Chan's boss is Ruchi Verma and Ruchi is also on the CPS Ethics committee.

You can't make this shit up. After the CTU clown car leaves their sappy looking negotiations team in front of the mics to give a report on the talks, Big Ben Felton is given a statement to read by CPS Law aka his wifey-poo Ruchi.

CPS is rolling with their Board voting to fire the CPS CEO without cause and ethics complaints. Now, herev comes the Open Meetings Act violation.

According to Paris Schutz: There's a potential open meetings violation regarding discussion the board had in closed session about the Acero school closures - More trouble for Mayor Johnson’s handpicked school board: “further action is warranted,” ⁦@ILAttyGeneral⁩ investigating whether board violated Open Meetings Act by addressing certain agenda items in closed session, away from public view.

Unethical
Dishonest
Conflict of interest
Conspiracy to commit fraud
Any ethical federally elected official have the moral spine to call it out?
Perhaps a new US Attorney General would like a slam dunk?
Great way to a new start.
CTU ever turn over its financial records?

The teacher and CTU are worthless. Test scores are abysmal and they are demanding more money. For what failing to do their job. The negoations should be about how much of a salary cut they will take. Close the he underused and failing to educate schools fire those staffs and tie any increases in o increased test scores. Strike threat is a good hint since the little darling are not learning anything while in school.

My kid works for CPS. According to her, CTU wanted to go on strike in February but are afraid to because they think CTU would be disbanded. In a recent meeting in regards to school funding. Stacy told white teachers who told her they didn't want their schools left behind, " Now you know how it feels to be black." Stacy makes over 200k a year and sends her kid to a private HS.

Many of the CTU teachers…I’m talking to you Brandon Johnson and Stacy Davis Gates…spend a few short years in the classroom then head for the door. That door is union activists/organizers. They don’t want to be in a classroom day in and day out with a group of CPS students.
It’s all talk”for the students” yet they avoid the daily slog of teaching, discipline, and classroom management while sitting in offices far away from students. These six figure salaries keep them insulated from work.

I'm sitting here with my popcorn waiting for the Judge to rule on the issue of Brandon Johnson having an ethical conflict with any CTU contract because he is "on leave" and any contract decision benefits him personally. This is a "No Brainer," but this is The Machine owned city, so hoping we get an honest Judge.

Mayor CTU claims the reason he hasn't resigned from CPS while on LOA is to show support for CPS teacher pals and the CTU during contract negotiations.

RULING: Bullshit!!! The reason Mayor CTU hasn't resigned from CPS is he continues to accrue pension credits to add to his 4 years of teaching.experience.

Only way to fix Chicago schooling is school vouchers…keep a hand full of Cps shit open to not demonize the shit kids who are not accepted else where. Then when the inevitable screw that up Audi til they 18 make em get a ged or stay locked up for the crime as an adult

It's "Audy". Even in safe boring northern Cook Co suburbs like Niles, Morton Grove, & Skokie kids in the '80s would be threatened with "Keep it up, & you'll get sent to the Audy home!":
