CPS and City Hall had press releases earlier yesterday about ICE agents coming to the Hamline Elementary School and how brave school personnel repelled them at the door and wouldn't let them in the building. How noble!
Unfortunately, along with C.P.S. kids not knowing their A.B.C.'s, C.T.U. members don't know how to read a business card that the U.S.S.S. isn't I.C.E.:
Chicago Public Schools officials admitted a “misunderstanding” on Friday caused parents at Hamline Elementary School in Back of the Yards to fear their school was being targeted by immigration agents, when in fact it was agents from the U.S. Secret Service investigating a threat.
The district initially told the public that agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, had attempted to enter the school but were turned away. In a statement Friday evening, CPS officials blamed the error on the Secret Service agents identifying themselves as part of Homeland Security, a department that includes both the Secret Service and ICE.
A spokesman for the Secret Service said the agents identified themselves to the school principal, provided business cards with their contact information and left the school without incident.
So parents ought to feel especially relieved that when a law enforcement agency shows up due to a specific threat of school violence, CPS/CTU employees feel completely justified in denying them the access that could....you know....save kids lives.
There certainly are some dumb, ignorant and illiterate motherf#$%ers in the schools, aren't there?

Those turning away Secret Service are probably graduates of CPS, so limited reading skills, no understanding of civics and how our government is organized, and no ability to recognize people coming to protect the children. Several times this afternoon and evening, the Channel 5-Local NBC-TV News covered the story and bragged about how the way the school personnel responded to the agents showing up "keeps the kids safe."

Isn’t CPS workers required to have an education. There is a big difference between ICE and the Secret Service. I remember in grade school being taught that the Secret Service was formed to protect the President (Abraham Lincoln) and they were later given the task of investigating counter fitting US currency so they had some investing skills. So the school administration didn’t know what they were doing. No surprise there. Bottom line is a kid at the school most likely threatened to kill the President and they impeded their investigation. And the days when I went to school that would’ve never happened. One no one back then would’ve threaten to kill the president early honest hard-working American would’ve put up with it. Let alone hi-five each other for helping someone that would do that delaying justice. So much for the sacred office of the president in Chicago. So now the CPS policy is to stop investigations with threats to the President. I wonder if they would’ve did that while Barack Obama was president.

CPS teachers are among the dullest knives in the drawer. The only thing these teacher do well is make noise when it’s contact time and threaten to strike. I have some news for CPS teachers… no one cares. No one gives a shit if you go on strike. The fire fighters are without a contract for 4 years and you never see that on the news. The agents while in the Office showed the Principal identification and presented her with business cards that clearly showed they were from the United States Secret Service. The CPS personnel didn’t like the fact that the USSS is part of DHS as is ICE. They were going to show to Tom Homan and his Gestapo who was in charge.
The Secret Service agents were investigating an on line threat made by an 11 year old against Trump. The school staff was lucky that the agents were gentlemen about the whole thing. School officials think they have the right to tell law enforcement officers that they can’t take students out of the building which is wrong. All the school can do is make a reasonable attempt to contact the parent or guardian. If the school wants to send someone to accompany the child they can do that but they have no right to prevent an arrest if the police have probable cause.
Now the media is trying to justify the actions of the CPS instead of calling out their lies. Talk about raising people’s fears this is it.
