A couple of social media posts allege that Conehead is currently at a 6.6% approval rating. Seems kind of high, but it could go lower after next weeks disastrous Congressional appearance. We say "disastrous" because we all know that's what it will be.
A Chicago reporter is already looking ahead to the next mayoral election:
Vallas is on record saying he wasn't running.
Giannoulias is famous for two things - bankrupting his parent's financial institution (costing taxpayers millions in payout money) and playing basketball with Sparklefarts.
If one or both endorsed Mendoza (who's one of the louder voices against Conehead's $830 million boondoggle) she'd be running away with the election.

In 2026 Illinois has the US House & Senate, Gov Lizzo, General Assembly and judges races coming quicker.
Some of the biggest problems in this country are the far left Marxist, socialist, progressive mayors like Conehead. They will cause Trump all kinds of problems as time goes by.
Trump’s start in draining the DC swamp has been miraculous. He needs some kind of a plan to deal with the big cities and their politicians. The current state of this department is going to contribute to Conehead losing votes that were definitely in his favor the last election. No matter how many press conferences that are held to fool the public, members are unhappy with the command staff and their unions, well at least Lodge 7 members.
Each day members come to the blog to express their thoughts about certain command members including the Superintendent and the slow roll when it comes to making changes. With maybe one or two exceptions, this is the same department David Brown and Eric Carter left behind. Outside of Heins getting promoted to Chief of Patrol, the other major changes under this Superintendent were putting farmer’s market vending machines in various unit throughout the department, new bump card requirements and prohibiting 5/11 pants.

Secretary of States office is a mess, trying calling there to get an answer. Called 3 times in last 3 months, shortest wait on hold before anyone answered the phone was 34 minutes. Also transferred often each time , they don't know what their doing.

After bankrupting the bank running it into the ground, his family's s-corp bank filed enormous losses and his family pocketed 15 million in tax credits. And Alexi ran for state treasurer and failed. Imagine someone who made loans with felons and ran a heavy regulated family bank into the ground seeking access and control over billions in public money. Continuing democrat values of associating with felons, bankruptcies, financial shenanigans and taxpayers footing the bill for his mistakes in the form of F.D.I.C. bailouts and a government regulator takeover over a failed family banking business will be his legacy.
My sources tell me that Pritzker is going to find a candidate who is "less offensive" to taxpayers and back him. I for one will personally believe that change is on the way when a republican can run with a conservative platform. Until then, I expect more of the same.
