Conehead Hates Education
Education isn't about running an efficient and workable school system - it's about enriching the connected. Even the unqualified ones:
Less than two months ago, the Chicago Board of Education voted unanimously to require the next head of Chicago Public Schools to possess the credentials to be a school superintendent.
The thinking was that future leaders of the city’s public schools should be educators rather than business leaders, which past mayors have hired at times to wrestle with CPS’ knotty financial challenges.
But now school board President Sean Harden, a close ally of Mayor Brandon Johnson, is strong-arming board members into overturning that resolution so that a minion of the mayor can be hired on an interim basis to succeed outgoing CPS CEO Pedro Martinez. We fear Harden will succeed at the May meeting.
So change the rules to fire Martinez, then change them back to hire an unqualified hack - namely, Conehead's own chief-of-staff.
Meanwhile, reading and math scores continue to plummet while CPS burns through non-existent money keeping how many schools open at less than 25% occupancy?

Regardless of what policy they use to hire someone for the job, they'll pick a connected scumbag that will continue to fleece the taxpayers while failing to educate the students, failing to fix any of the many problems with CPS, and failing to actually enforce rules and hold the supposed educators responsible for doing their jobs. Throw in a few sex scandals, some shootings, some theft and misappropriation of funds, a strike or seven, and just total failure.
but cps has a record number of honor roll students they give passing grades to,,,,,, but who cares they can't read or write,,,,, they get participation diplomas
Conehead is not exactly an educated person himself..ever listen to his press conferences / interviews/ or even his time on Capitol Hill!! Chicago has hit an all time low!

I watched the "Townhall Discussion" on WGN this past Wednesday. It was a joke. Questions asked by the mayors supporters and those who are in organizations he has funneled money too. I"m also quite positive he was given questions ahead of time to have answers ready. The media has gone so far left they don't even try to hide it anymore.

Who does Mayor CTU want to insert as interim CPS CEO? It's his Chief of Staff Cristina Pacione-Zayas and the same person that led the Ronnie Reese cover-up, wanted shitheads to form peace circles, and directed the pissing away of hundreds of millions of taxpayer's money on the migrants.
What's CPZ's credentials to be interim CEO? An expired ISBE substitute teacher license. How long will she be interim CEO? The last 2 years of Mayor CTU's term

Just saw a story that says Chitcago is the worst in the nation for blacks.
Crime, unemployment, low wages if they do have a job, and EDUCATION.
"...Black graduation rates sit at 85 percent for black girls and only 78 percent for black boys..."
That only makes a sideways reference to the number that start school but don't make it to graduation due to dropping out or getting killed.
It never addresses the fact that those that do "graduate" are unable to read their diploma or make change for a dollar.
A more thorough assessment would put those numbers at the other end of the scale, i.e., 15-22% that are actually capable of functioning (somewhat) in today's society.
I heard a rumor that Conehead wants to appoint Tiffany Henyard as CEO of CPS. He thinks her track record with finances in both Thornton Township and Dolton makes her the perfect fit to run CPS. She'd likely get the endorsement of CTU as an added plus.
Conehead is as dumb as a stump. Pay your water bills and give your baby other momma money for pampers, fool. And not taxpayers money!
