Chicago needs all the help it can get.
There was a polling number a few months that indicated almost 100% of all Republicans and Democrats believed in God in the 1960’s or earlier. Today, only 70% of Democrats and 93% of Republicans believe in God. The mass media, school system and society at-large has been eliminating religion just like the depicted dead Pope Chalkie. I remember clearly the Greatest Generation, who are all but gone now. They were Self-Sacrificing b/c their faith in God taught them that. Today, people have turned their backs on God, that is why we are $37T in debt, Illinois not the same anymore, and society has become unhinged. Selfish bastards everywhere!
Birth rates have collapsed in the US and Western Nations, including Japan, South Korea and even Communist China. On average females need to give birth to 2.1 children to maintain the population. South Korea has a birth rate of 0.78. That is 1/3 of the rate needed to maintain the population. Once previous generations die off, S.K.’s population will be 1/3 of its current size. If this trend continues, it will be 1/6 (1/3 of a 1/3) later. By 2100, S.K.’s population will only be 17M-22M from today’s 52M. Like dead Pope Chalkie, people are turning their backs on faith and becoming far more self-centered which means no kids.

As for Chalkie, we take full credit for the Chicago flag pictogram design, but we've always given you full credit for the name. The perfect name deserves proper credit.
"Self centered" for being realistic and rightfully cautious in 2025? A more suited term would have been SELF-PRESERVATION... Having children usually means marriage. Marriage can ruin one's life if it ends up a divorce. Divorce in childless marriages usually means alimony. Paying $2000+ a month in alimony for 20 years isn't exactly fair to the paying party. Doesn't take a genius to come to a conclusion what a bad decision marriage can be. Don't marry, don't get baby trapped, don't become an ATM. Date only.
