Crime is down? Nationally?
Murder rates are plummeting. While we still have more than half a year to go, Kash Patel, the FBI’s director, says that the U.S. is on track to have the lowest murder rate ever. The current record low occurred in 2014 when the FBI reported a murder rate of 4.45 per 100,000.
The question is: why? Law enforcement matters, but it is probably also that Trump is deporting criminal illegal aliens.
According to Patel, “Let good cops be cops,” is the answer. “I’m gonna let you, the agents, the police officers, the sheriffs, go out there and do the work you so badly want to do. And I’m gonna give you the resources you need to do it. And I’m gonna take away the politicization and weaponization … and that’s what we’ve done.”
Golly, who would have thunk it?
It seems that you CAN arrest, enforce and deport your way out of a crime situation. We just needed an Administration willing to do it.

Off topic. Chicago Police Officer Dwayne Ocascio is a guest in Polk County Florida jail and has met Sheriff Grady Judd. Seems Officer Ocascio has an assault charge pending from an altercation with a security guard who asked him and several others to move their golf cart out of the road. Officer Ocascio took exception to the request and shoved the guard. The guard called the sheriff's office and the responding deputes placed him under arrest. Sheriff Grady showed the world his mug shot and his occupation as a Chicago Police Officer, district 15. Judd doesn't mess around.

Criminologists have researched and discussed what causes crime for years and most of the time can only come up with theories that cannot be proved. But, generally two things come into play to reduce crime across the country . One is enforcing the law and arresting, convicting and jailing criminals in a speedy manner. Second is the population of young men. When that population is reduced, crime is reduced, ages 17-24 years. No one can say with any certainly how much illegal immigration or immigration in general contributes to crime as sanctuary cities and states prohibit the police and courts from even asking a person their status.
They should federally mandate the three strike your out rule!! We shouldn’t have convicted felons walking around let alone, over 20 times!

What’s wrong with the deportation theory is that murders, and not the crime rate in general is going down. That’s the, actual crime rate, not the crimes reported to the police. Because no one can prove what factors contributed to the lower homicide rate everyone, the police, the liberals or any other interest group, can take credit.
SCC tells us that federal immigration policies are the reason for the change, but his colleague over at Hey Jackass tells a different story. We know that the vast majority of homicides are committed by blacks against blacks, and according to the CDC, the leading cause of deaths up to age 50 so for black males is homicide. (The CDC tells us that this is also true for black infants and black females of certain age groups). They are deporting some, but not many of the demographic that is responsible for the killing.
How safe is Chicago? Very safe from homicides for all demographics other than black. Again, look at HeyJackass. In 2018, there were 592 homicides. 118 of the people killed were non-black. 118 for a city the size of Chicago seems pretty safe, and if you only report the killing of white/other and exclude Hispanic-and blacks the city really appears safe.

Deportations haven’t been happening in Chicago… it’s actually still a free flow of migrants and illegals coming here from other cities where deportations are happening.. chicagos crime is down across the board. Homicides have plummeted. BUT, CPD arrests and gun recoveries are at the highest in years. So let’s not give credit to “deportations” and give credit to Trump.. they aren’t deporting anyone in Chicago and if they are I guarantee they’ve grabbed less than a hundred if not way less… we would have heard about it every day. The credit goes to the CPD and the officers who are out there working.
