Immediate Explanation
Transparencyusa.org is a site that tracks political donations - kind of a "reveal the network" type site, and it was brought to our attention that there appears to be a strange donation made a few months ago (click for larger view):
That appears (APPEARS) to be a $10,000 donation to the Illinois Governor's Mansion Association ....from what is listed as "Fraternal Order of Police Chicago Lodge."
Just so everyone is aware, there are six Lodges with the word Chicago in their title:
- Chicago John Dineen Lodge of course (Lodge 7);
- Chicago Revenue Investigators (Lodge 279);
- Chicago Ridge Police (Lodge 12)
- Chicago State University Police (Lodge 277);
- Eugene Stack West Chicago (Lodge 85)
- University of Chicago Police (Lodge 225)
There are also thirteen FOP lodges with the word "Chicago" in their address (eleven "Chicago," one as "West Chicago" and one as "Chicago Ridge").
While we would hope that this is merely sloppy record keeping and documentation on the part of Transparency.org, we can state with near certainty that at least four of those six lodges don't have anywhere near the resources to be tossing $10K at someone who has repeatedly demonstrated a complete disregard for American citizens, public safety and the rule of law.
UPDATE: The contribution was May of 2025 according to this page....just four months ago.

I’m not surprised. The Lodge has money to fund the Governor’s mansions, but doesn’t kept a running list of who is stripped. Members have been sitting at 376 for years with no word from the lodge. They’ve made peace with it and is making it work for them. The Lodge is too busy throwing money around. The individual files are Manila envelope from personnel that are kept in the bottom of a file cabinet at the Fop, never to be touched again unless it’s a high profile case high profile case or a friend. 50 people on the payroll and no one designated to personally reach out to members to ensure them that we haven’t forgotten about them. The civilian unions do a better job represent their members. You can say what you want about Stacey Davis Gates, but she’s always in the media defending the CTU’s nonsense.

John Catanzara’s doesn’t really give a rats ass about anyone but himself . He has two pending hearings for charges 1.) one for paying to join another Union ; and 2.) for stealing tens of thousands of dollars for running for Fop National President and numerous boat rides in which he pocketed it and went to dinner at Smith & Wollensky in Florida .
John did a video at one of the people on his disciplinary board who will be hearing these egregious charges . In the video at this persons wedding he call his Vision team members “ his crew !” He has in the past made several reference to his Mafia and quite frankly he does what he wants . The disciplinary hearing is to be held at the Lodge on October 15th and in my opinion this will be an attempt to discredit the person who is making the charges against Catanzara.
Duckhorn has already recused himself and take warning Fop Board members that outside people are watching for what happens . The have been rumors of numerous investigative law enforcement looking into the Foo wheeling and dealings . If you don’t think you are going to be under a microscope and being SCRUTINIZED than you are mistaken . This hearing should be conducted in the main hall and open to any members who want to watch it . Ask at the next meeting and it’s not like Catanzara hasn’t been in hot water before . He stolen your hard earned dues and has been all over this Country doing what exactly ? By the way this mamaluke is traveling first class , eating at the top seafood and steak places and YOU don’t even have a contract ! But hey John speaks for us !
