Remember, the Media is Useless

Here's a Community Alert issued by the CPD recently (click for larger view):

You'll notice about halfway down the page, there is a good description of the offenders....in fact, it's pretty much exact.

But here's the Channel 7 report:

• The suspects have been described as two females and four males who use a white van, a gray 2023 Chevrolet Colorado without license plates, a black Chevrolet Traverse with custom white rims or a white pickup truck.

  One of the female suspects is about 5 feet tall and 120 pounds with brown eyes, and short, black hair. The other female suspect is about 5-foot-3 with hazel eyes.

  One of the male suspects is about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7, around 140 pounds and between 20 and 25 years old. He wears a beige baseball cap, a white face mask, an orange and yellow vest, a light green shirt and blue pants. The second male suspect is about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 175-180 pounds and between 48 and 58 years old. He has short, gray hair and wears a black baseball hat with a red "B" on the front, white glasses, black mask, white shirt and white pants.

Criminals change clothes all the time. They even steal other cars so as to avoid detection. If only there was something that didn't change....

This time, the description is a bit vague.

But don't worry! Channel 7 rides to the rescue again:

• Chicago police issued an alert Monday about a series of robberies downtown in which suspects snatched gold necklaces off victims. In each incident, the suspects targeted lone, unsuspecting victims on park property, and stole gold chains and necklaces from them.

  The suspects are described as one to four men and women ages 20 to 40 and one male suspect in a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white gym shoes.

Golly, groups of men and women wandering downtown together, with a clothing description that probably changes every single day.

Anyone know why the media even exists any more? Besides ginning up fake outrage and driving the "progressive" narrative that only morons are supporting any more.
