This Sounds....Familiar
But it can't be.
Mass transit is the safest it's ever been, even back in April:
Witnesses to a fatal stabbing outside the Central Green Line station stepped in and detained the killer until police arrived, officials said. Emily Carlson, 25, of Glendale Heights, died from a single stab wound she received to her upper back around 1 p.m. on April 24.
Prosecutors said 54-year-old Willie Holmes spat on Carlson and a witness reacted by punching Holmes. Holmes allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Carlson in the back. CTA cameras recorded the encounter.
The stab pretty much severed her aorta and she bled out in seconds.
We keep thinking about North Carolina for some reason.
Good thing crime was under control the entire year.

On October 27, 2022, the Union met with the attorneys handling the Federal Court class action about the City’s failure to pay rank credit when supervisors worked program overtime such as VRI and SDI. The lawsuit has been pending for seven years, with the City’s private law firm requesting thirteen continuances and the plaintiffs filing nine motions to compel to address the City’s repeated discovery violations. Nevertheless, the plaintiffs were 100% successful on the rank credit issue and summary judgment has been granted for us on liability. The lawyers are now working on damages discovery and are again facing the usual delays from the City. Damages on the rank credit claim go back to 2007 and the law provides monthly penalty interest. The City has not made any effort to settle the case, even though its primary argument was that the word “works” in 20.10 of the CBA is ambiguous. The District Court did not buy it. In any event, the Union is in regular contact with the attorneys on the case and will provide updates as they become available.
no knife signs will fix it... Conehead's on it!
Must have been a media black out?
Public transportion has become the favored hunting grounds for the bad ones.
The equiviolent good ones are awaited to avail themselves of natural laws, not feckless human concocted rules.
When you cannot bring a gun to a knife assault, bring a bigger knife and better skills.
Maybe if we had the National guard riding the trains and stationed on Michigan ave these deaths would not have occurred. But JB with his 100 officer security detail says Chicago is safe and crime is down. Go f yourself you pandering prick. And no matter how much of your inherited money you spend you will never be President!
Not sure why anyone that’s not a criminal or mentally unstable rides the CTA. Uber or Lyft get you to where you’re going without the hassle of drug addicts defecating or masturbating in front of you. No super predators trying to rob or rape you or even kill you for that matter. This is the third world shithole that’s brought to you by progressives.
Were we able to curtail smoking on the CTA yet? Brandon is really looking to drive crime down!
Maybe the Feds in Chicago need to start charging crimes in/on Mass Transit. If nothing it makes a great counter argument to the crime is down narrative
I like riding the train. One day I will be a victim, plea for my life.....de escalate....and then smoke the m-fucker.
Justice will be performed and Chicago will again be the great city before the Democrats ruined it.
"Paging Paul Kersey, Paging Paul Kersey"
Even my sacred Red Line North is not safe.
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_public_transport There is a move on public transit sysyems to have free transit or "reduced for poor" https://bostonabcd.org/2024/09/06/low-income-t-riders-can-now-apply-for-reduced-fares/ and this is only the beginning!
The same people who have $200 Starter jackets, $300 tennis shoes, etc., now will get "free" transit? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sJkU6ZOizo
shows how people don't pay in Milwaukee'$38Million, thus far.
I am a retired Milwaukee County bus driver. Was assaulted twice. Sent to a shrink by the "good & fair company." "You never ask for a bus fare" from a 24 y/o idiot, in 1996. Now, This is policy!!!!!! (6:02 in Fox6 entry.) I will say what I said in 1996. "That is a novel approach. Maybe McDonalds, Walmart or Target ought to try that." Her reply: "Shut up. You are in the chair." I was 40 at the time, dealing with a 24 year old know it all.
I saw so much. You would never want to ride a bus, train, etc. Never.
In 1957, Chevrolet ran an ad: "It's not your car. It's your freedom." WHY would you give up your freedom to sit with unknows, medical-mental issues? You are rather safe in your car. A bus?
This is not 1960 anymore!
Guess this video, too, will be hidden, if the proper narrative doesn’t fit.
No need to question your safety - it was a "senseless random act".
Amen to this!
Where's the outrage?
Most people know that crime is out of control in Chicago in spite of CPD statistical manipulation and the ongoing city-wide media coverup. Crime and corruption are the hallmarks of this corrupt city administration.
As a Christian, citizen of Illinois, for 76 years, productive, and veteran, Mayor Johnson and Gov. Pritzger you stink at everything. You are a stain on America and Illinois.
How about hiring more trained police officers instead? The NG, God bless them, are not trained to perform the functions of urban police officers. If they are going to replace the cops, then train them up and pay them a cops wage.
Blacks attack whites at a 9-1 ratio.
I wouldn't ride the cta for free
Feds need to do project exile and put it on sferoids.
Were the victims all White. Maybe it should have been a hate crime.
If you ride the CTA unarmed you get what you deserve!
We were better off with the guys who carried .44's and couldn't wait for a halfway justifiable. And with them the old school street Deputys who majored in creative writing.
Where's mass transit police lol
Didn't know the Green Line ran out to Glendale Heights....
