Election Season Approaching
Remember, don't elect this moron:
Politics is filled with shallow and intellectually obtuse people, and Chicago pols are no exception. All things being equal, Chicago politicians are probably worse than average.
One of them, Illinois’ Secretary of State Alex Giannoulias, regularly posts images and videos of himself on social media lifting weights, presumably to distract voters from his cerebral shortcomings and his checkered history as a public official.
Aside from the Broadway Bank fiasco that saddled taxpayers with many hundreds of millions in bailout money (while leaving the Giannoulias bank accounts looking awfully healthy) and his awkward associations to Sparklefart fixer Tony Rezko, there was the Illinois Bright Start college fund that lost over $150 million while under Giannoulias' rein as State Treasurer.
Any single one of these things should have disqualified him from political office and kept him ten-to-twenty years away from public funds, but he's still around, playing coy about running for Conehead's job.

and runs to retire after getting a heads up soon after and right before a couple of very high profile investigations get underway. Sits on his ass for a couple of years unable to get a job until his guy McDouchebag weasels his ass into Tinley because of Politics and then sponsors Barney Rubble to be his ball sack sidekick. Someone should do some digging as to who Mcdumbass knows and who by the way was also embarrassingly demoted back down to Captain before his departure from CPD.
It’s unbelievable that these inept fuckers keep landing on their feet. A simple google search of the shit they were involved in on CPD would have not even let them be considered to be candidates. So much for a transparent process to get hired or promoted in Tinley.
Melean actually wrote and email ordering his officers under his command to racially profile in Chinatown and that was covered up. CWB actually exposed it a few years ago and quoted his email. Just being dumb enough to memorialize that on an email he should have been eliminated from whatever hiring process Tinley had.

I believe Chicago is entirely capable of replacing Conehead with a fool like Alexi G. With the right financial backing, he could pull off a win. I have no doubts that the death spiral will continue after the next election. The current brood of politicians in Illinois have made the waters so treacherous that no right-minded individual might run.
The major issue is the bend of voters to back blue candidates at all costs. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if a socialist candidate pops up before the election and rides the current wave of success in other blue cities.
I won't vote for Giannoulis just because he approved license plates that are printed instead of embossed. Got new plates and I give them a month before they wear out.

One of the reasons for that is that many of the items are often badly written and hard to follow. And many times it seems that the authors have a conclusion, then fill in around it to support that conclusion, instead of building a story. No, I’m not a lib. But that publication is sloppy.
