Time for Some Research
Someone sent us this, and it's amazing if true:
- 52% of all murders in the United States come from only 2 counties
- 1) Cook County, Illinois (Chicago and surrounding area)
- 2) Los Angeles County, California
If those numbers pan out, and you add in New York, you see exactly why everyone thinks (knows) blue city/state shitholes could use some assistance from the National Guard.
And this....:
- Repeat offenders in Chicago, the same 1400 people commit over 86% of the crimes. The same repeat offenders according to the superintendent of Chicago police
....screams "failure" at every level of democrat governance.

5.8 × 12,710,158 / 100,000 = 737
2024 CA homicide rate = 4.4/100,000
2024 CA population = 39,431,263

Forget Chicago + LA. Even all of IL + all of CA don't make 50%.

The downard democrats have bastardized two components of the equation. The first is entire culture and the second is the political atmosphere of the state. Even if the 1400 were locked up others within the bastardized culture will replace them as they have continually done since any of us and before us can remember. As for the politics it is driven by the democratic agenda and its survival is guaranteed by its control of certain counties/metropolitan areas.
Even with the crime package spending and hiring thru the 90s the district cells were busy as hell, the courts were full, and the jails were packed. Yet crime continued. The 011 Dist could claim to be the drug and murder capital of the country. What’s changed?
As long as democrats control selected enclaves of useful idiots, they will control Springfield and the fucked up laws that come from that esteem body of statesman. Rauner couldn’t do anything to change the political landscape because the GOP did not control both Houses in Springfield. And anchored to the democratic political apparatus is the court system, whether voted in or appointed, up to the 7th Circuit that runs cover for the democratic politicians.
Now add the dysfunctional public school system with its powerful unions state wide. Over half the public school teachers would be fired if their jobs depended on the quality of the students that come out the doors, even thru college.
They all tie in to hopelessly make Illinois a fucked state.
You can’t fix the culture because the politicians have their boot on the back of their necks holding them down. You can’t fix the politics because of useful idiots voting democrat in spite of the negative consequences that always occur. And you can’t fix the educational system and the enlightened the student body in any significant numbers because teachers are not held accountable.
Like five balls of string so intertwined it is unable to just free one string. What’s the solution, without having to take everything down and start from scratch?
The elected officials could stop this but they want this. Why would anyone be against zero tolerance on crime.

Not true. According to the FBI there were 16,924 murders in the USA in 2024, 773 in Cook County (of which 603 were in Chicago), 649 in LA County and 377 in NYC. These 8 counties (NYC consists of 5 Boroughs, each of which are individual counties themselves) account for just over 10% of the nations homicides. Too many for sure but not over half.

Total number of murders in USA in 2023, the stats i found were over 20,000.
California had over 1900 murders.
But Texas with 8 million fewer people had 1845 murders.
North Carolina had more murders than all of Illinois.
Illinois had 845 murders.
Georgia with a slightly lower population had 782 murders.
So California & Illinois had 2774 murders total for that year, which means they only had less than 15% of all murders in the country.
So you were horns-waggled by a liar!

I did the same thing but used Chat GPT. That said, Cook County is the most in the U.S., with LA County right behind. Either way the number of murders in both cities is a failure.
