Dems Love Criminals
Yesterday, we wrote about the democrat effort to conceal, hide, and secrete the criminal records of thousands, probably tens of thousands of offenders from basic background checks. Not that big a deal if we're talking about tiny little misdemeanors. But there's no mechanism in place for persons who plead violent felonies down to misdemeanors.
And then someone in the comment section raised a point that we are kicking ourselves for not remembering and mentioning:
- libtarded sites like the Invisible Institute have CR records going back decades for things that never even rose to the level of a quasi-criminal offense - mere procedural "crimes" at worst - that are available for public viewing and are used on a daily basis to question arrests and uses of force by Officers.
We haven't checked that site since we retired.....but we did today. We're still listed there a number of times. So are half-a-dozen deceased Officers we know along with dozens upon dozens of retirees we are acquainted with. A family member who died almost a quarter-century ago is still listed for a sustained "offense" that occurred took place in the 1960's.
But someone in 2024 who took a swing at a cop (Agg Assault), made incidental contact (Agg Battery), but thanks to Crimesha pled it down to a misdemeanor (Simple Battery) gets to seal up his records and hide his violent tendencies?
This is fair how? When do we get to seal up our employment records for things that were never even crimes?

It’s hilarious. I’m still on the department and at one time was top 10 in the department for CR numbers.. no, I’m not proud or gloating, but their website shows I have a total of 6 in my career. My tally over 27 years is about 97 numbers.. the hard hitting cutting edge reporters only found 6… what else do they have that’s inaccurate???
The criminals are their friends and family so they love to protect them. They also love to protect their voting block. How else can they keep the chaos going. Help the criminals while robbing the regular working stiff of his hard earned money.

Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino Denied Service At Minneapolis Gas Station
"Independent journalist Cam Higby shared footage showing him questioning a Speedway employee after Bovino and other federal agents were denied service at a Minneapolis location. In the video, Higby asks the employee whether they work at the store and whether they refused service to the agents. The employee answered and said the decision was intentional.
Higby then turned to Bovino and asked whether it is legal for a business to deny service to federal agents.

Don’t forget, if anyone has been to 26th lately, there’s a new form being filled out by the ASA’s documenting your lawsuits, CR history, IPRA or COPA investigations, etc, no matter how far they go back. Pretty much making it easier for the defense to bring up anything in your career (whether sustained, unsustained, unfounded or exonerated), and any lawsuit that’s ever been brought against you (whether liable or completely exonerated) to be used against you in open court. No historical limits, obviously. But hey, it’s the animal(s) we deal with. Definitely some BS though.

Release all body cam footage on a daily basis. Let the public see how these animals act towards us on a day to day basis. I have nothing to hide, I’d only be vindicated if anything. If the public saw exactly how bad some neighborhoods are maybe they’d change their vote. Maybe. Why not at least try it? Release all body cam footage and see what happens.
Whoever becomes the next governor of Illinois, just reverse everything pigster did. You will become the best most popular governor ever. And I will applaud you from Florida.

I am retired almost 25 years and in business for myself. I interact with attorneys and corporations. You would be surprised how many people that you deal with look up the Invisible Institute once they find you are a retired cop. I was involved in a civil trial and a few criminal trials as I provided information for the defense. My old CR record came up. Yes, all of that should be erased. 34 years and 7 CR numbers, one sustained.

This is FAIR how? I’m having a problem remembering anything that has been fair for years now.
Not to mention it was so beyond inaccurate and skewed. I looked, I’m gone 3 years now. I hadn’t had a CR in my last 10 years on the job. I’m still listed as having 54% more allegations as others on the job. 10 allegations and if my memory serves me many I was only one of many who had to give a statement on someone else’s allegation. How on earth does that put me in the top 54%? And as much as I don’t care, they sure as Hell also don’t show most of your Honorable Mentions or Major Awards. So all that does is skew further opinion for anyone looking up names that many of our careers were nothing more than a series of complaints and few positives.
From comments I read and speaking with other officers, I think it might be time for a class action lawsuit against the II for highly inaccurate information.
And I’ll guarantee you, unless you kept your own records, there was no accuracy to what that garbage site had on it.

I thought the similar. Just write FOIA across it. Aint your responsibility as an officer being requested to court to provide. Just like they want a case report or evidence, it has to be requested or put in notification. Just cause its there doesn't mean you need to VOLUNTARILY provide it
II also has collapsed the actual spectrum of findings into fewer categories. And because IAD/BIA has changed its category codes over the years, some allegations are being reported inaccurately. For instance, some are tagged as domestic-related when they absolutely werent at all domestic related.
Mid 1980's car accident, went for a depo with an ambulance chaser attorney firm. They had a copy of my entire employment file. Including my application, efficiency scores, medical records and my IAD complaint information for my entire career. Just for an accident that was not my fault. A request for information is made, and some nitwit copies your personnel file and sends is to the attorney. No questions asked. I could see if they were inquiring about a driving record with department vehicles, injuries, but no, everything. Your department was not and is not your friend either.

Did t mention PD is down like 2000 officers and they have to offer OT to meet minimum staffing at times. also did t provide one shred of evidence that anyone did t earn the OT they were paid for.
