On one hand, this is good that they got knocked out in the primary
On the other, this is pointless because these are "safe" seats and the democrat that won the primary will likely still be elected.....and that is bad because they'll still vote the "progressive" agenda because they're too far gone to do anything else.
And speaking of too far gone, what was this?
- Brendan Reilly ran against Prickwrinkle for Cook County Board president and at the last polls before election day, was trailing by 20+ points the entire race - but that didn't stop Lodge 7 from making a $100,000 donation to what was obviously a losing effort;
- Stephanie Kofowit ran for Comptroller and was pooling poorly - and the Lodge threw $25,000 to someone who ended up finishing dead last .
Is the Political Action Committee going to be fired for these wasted dollars?
How much will they give Conehead and Fata$$ next?

It is admirable that FOP stand up for it's friends and allies. Sometimes the allies will lose. No group backs all winners. In the race for Attor ey General, there couldn't possibly be a clearer choice. Bob Fioretti, long-time friend to law enforcement, or squish Kwame Raoul. Law enforcement needs to step up for Bob as he has always done for them. Incidentally, despite being outspent 15-1 in his run against Toni Preckwinkle, Fioretti received 99,000 more votes than Reilly did. AG is a winnable race.

Winning the state wide election as a Republican isn’t as complicated as people think it is. Unfortunately, the Republican Party here in Illinois hasn’t gotten it through their head yet that as long as you’re labeled as being a Trump supporter or a right wing conservative, you’ll never win. Yes, most counties in Illinois lean red, however the votes are in cook and the surrounding counties. If a moderate Republican came in, they would be able to grab the downstate counties, as well as peel off disenfranchised democratic and independent voters in the surrounding counties here.

As a long time combat veteran of both Chicago and New York - (I was heavily involved as a 7 year old in the arguments, fights of 1968 - my grandfather fought in the White Army > 100 years ago in the Russian Civili war - he/we lost.
We look to be losing, pretty much lost all of Chicago and Crook county, the SOuthern Suburbs such as Dalton Illinois (Where the pro Muslim Liberation Theology Pope Leo was. born and raised), Harvey look and feel as bad as anything in the SOuth and West side of the City!
And our Chicago BLM, CTU Mayor - IMO he’s as bad as the worst mayors of big US cities in the 1980s Detroit’s Coleman Young, Garry’s Hatcher, cross dresser Harold Washington or maybe even DC’s crackhead Mayor Marian Barry.
At least Marian Barry was honest, truthfull about Jessie Jackas* Jackson:

I don't know all the races mentioned here, but obviously, Boss Hog won the big one for Senate, with his pro-crime (sorry, "reformist") Lt. Gov. beating the more moderate Raja. And Biss is just as "progressive" as Kat, so that seat will remain to the left of most of the state. The worst news is Repubs nominated Darren Bailey again, who is sure to lose to Boss Hog again.
Fioretti is an attention ho who has done nothing but run as a spoiler in other elections. Two very dismal choices here.

Our PAC gave Reilly 100k on March 10th, only 7 days before the election. Was Cosentino aware all the relevant polls had Reilly loosing by 30%. Why did lodge 7 make such a big push so late in the race? Lodge 7’s PAC is the laughing stock of Chicago politics.
