A side effect of blowing up drug boats?
Salmon exposed to cocaine in the water swim longer distances than those that go without, according to a study released this week.
Cocaine use is on the rise worldwide, with the U.N. reporting an estimated 25 million people used the stimulant in 2023 and the drug being increasingly found in waterways.
Joint research released Monday by scientists at Australia's Griffith University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences studied how the drug affected the movements of wild fish in their natural habitats.

This can be the new exempt excuse for pissing hot. Instead of saying they were eating "tuna," they can say they were eating salmon.

Cocaine COHO is a reasonable excuse. Brings me back to the time I was in the academy little over a decade ago. One of my classmates pissed hot for heroine. Showed everyone his print out results. At the time we all believed narcotics was an instant termination and he’s being terminated. But since his daddy was a legend on CPD it was ultimately determined a poppyseed bagel was the culprit. This was my first serious WTF moment with this ridiculous department. Then came the promotions, another WTF etc etc. You really cannot make this shit up.
