Body Parts?
What's this rumor that keeps popping up about some body parts being located in the crawlspace of a house up north (Oriole Park?) that has some association with a former high ranking individual?
Someone claimed it was ongoing.
Someone else said it was an old case unrelated to the retired boss.
It's certainly something that would provide the readership with quite a bit of entertainment and comedy opportunities, which is the main purpose here.

Animal bones. This is a complete waste of time.
Rumor is it’s jimmy hoffa
Usually the skeletons are kept in the closet
Non-human
Barz’s tiny citcumsion foreskin pieces?
Let’s say it not human remains. Is it possible someone buried a deceased pet there years ago. If it is human remains M.B. might have some explaining to do..
I seem to remember a case about 32 years ago around that area where a family all of a sudden filed a “Missing Person” report for the 100 year old dad/grandad. It was done on July 5th. The old man supposedly was a retired RR worker collecting a generous pension, when the RR contacted the family about doing a little “upbeat” story on him reaching 100, low and behold the old man allegedly walked off to see the fireworks on 4th of July by himself and never returned. Of course, nobody believed the family and just figured they were covering for the years of pension fraud. I seem to recall that even a backhoe was brought in to dig up the yard. No body was ever found. No record of cremation or burial ever found. It was over 30 years ago and i don’t know what happened to the home or who bought it after that. Just a thought- if not this old man, I’m sure that wasn’t the 1st family that ever tried to keep collecting a pension.
Don’t trust any boss. That would be like trusting John Wayne Gacy!
It was animal bones.
A former Gacy burial site ? maybe did contracting for the house
It was from the dumbass neighbor leaving out food for all the stray cats-ME verified they were ham bones…
You call....
We haul...
That's all...
19-Paul
Woohoo!
That's why it pays to know someone with a crematorium.
Like in the series "Ozark". 🤣
That was an Area 5 SVU case. Think his name was Henry. Never did find the old guy, don’t think the family ever got charged for all the pension/SS money they collected all those years. Or for the false police report. Old Henry didn’t have a bedroom, or clothes, or even a hairbrush in that house, and no doctor or hospital reports for over 25+ years. The backhoe found nothing after a neighbor reported looking over the fence many years ago and saw the male in the home digging up the yard, who told her he was going to plant some vegetables! It was surmised that, since he was seen digging, he later moved the body to an undisclosed location.
There was a boss in old area Five that always used to say "I know where the bodies are buried" Let's start there...
I know, get geraldo rivera to do a show for the bones just like he did for the al capone secret vault
Female or male?
Now we know where the dead hooker in the trunk went!
MB doesn’t even live there and yes there are a lot of stray cats that get fed by neighbors
M.B. Moved a long time ago and the neighbor is a good guy. Very pro police and not a democrat. Who cares if he feeds the strays? No mice or rats around.
Any weird looking lamps found ?
One of Drew Peterson’s missing wives.
BS- Unless the type of animal was obvious by looking at the bones, they only determine if they were human or not. They don't do a deep dive into what type of animal it was.
I just stopped gnawing on the human leg I found out back of my home to respond to this. This boss should be ashamed of him/herself. You sir-mame are what's working with this department.
Was working at BP Whiting, they always have improvements on going. The crew uncovered some bones they stopped the work until identified, it was the mules that died during building the place in the 1800's.
Better call Saul
I remember that case as well. The son-in-law was in the concrete business if i remember correctly. He's probably still requesting mail-in ballots and voting Democratic.
Buslik is a smug SOB.
!ho cares about the bones 016 is already short on days and it's not even Summer yet. You have so many people hiding upstairs and downstairs working part-time hours and now they need volunteers to work the watch. You already have people working those hours doing absolutely nothing and now you are going to screw someone who might need afternoons. Way to go boss!
Retired operator here, there are bones everywhere under the city streets. From my recollection, in front of Ed debevics across from planet Hollywood the bones from the original stockyards at the mouth of the river. Tons of them right under the pavement. Also middle of Cicero Ave in front of where crackerjack was. 107th and Michigan under the intersection, this one made the news in 80s or 90s, Dutch church was paid to move cemetery they just moved the headstones, sewer dept loaded out tons of coffins and bodies from 1907. Also more well known lincoln park is full of old Graves. Found a skeleton under a hydrant on rush street once Also. The whole city is one paved over graveyard. Bones in the yard are no big deal unless your wife is missing then you might have a problem 😉
But he still was a good boss to work for
You need help. Increase the meds.
I agree. An arrogant prick.
Maybe they’ll finally find OJ’s knife out at Bryn Mawr/Cumberland where they thought he dumped it in ‘94.
I came on the job in 1970. The Area 4 Task Force guys were telling of inconvenient bodies being dropped down West Side sewers during the 1968 riots. I don't how or when sewers are cleaned. It seen to me that a 'fresh' tasty body would not last long and would become a feist among the resident rat population.
what about the desk dollies on the third watch leaving early must be nice
All the parts is crammed into one big part. Then the one big part is cut up into little pieces parts, and parts is parts.
If u came on in 1970 and still give a shit about policing than u are a sad individual. Let it go!!
Why don’t you transfer to 007 and be happy you work in 016.
Holy crap I'm confused. You're talking about people working upstairs and downstairs and days and afternoons. Make up your mind already.
