Officers Injured

A traffic accident:

• Two Chicago police officers, a 26-year-old woman and 9-month-old baby were taken to local hospitals after a rollover crash on Chicago's South Side Tuesday morning.

  A marked CPD squad car was traveling north on State Street after 11:15 a.m. in Chatham, when it collided with the vehicle with the woman and child, who were traveling east on 87th Street, CPD said.

  The two officers were taken to a local hospital in good condition for observation. The woman was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in good condition for observation and the baby was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition for observation, police said.

No indications or reports of a pursuit - just an accident.
