Here’s another one who pulled out the get out of jail free card. Sonny Hostin who is a co host on the TV program “The View”, an attorney and a former US Federal Prosecutor, interfered in the arrest of her Harvard educated son. He was arrested for trespassing on the Metro North RR property in Westchester Co NY. Not only does she arrive on the scene to tell the police on how to do their job but also writes a letter to the county prosecutor advising them to drop the charges!!!! Just google her name for the video & story. Would you believe she is a Democrat who is obsessed with attacking Trump every day of the week on her program? ABC should toss her and that program.

His DOJ isn't do much of anything. They make lots of promises but always come up empty. Just like the Republicans. They have a lot of hearings and scream at people telling them they belong in prison, yet no one has been arrested, put in prison or faced consequences for fraud or illegal activities.

The bigger story is in "If she got what she called for accomplished" We all know that COD brass is very generous with politicians whims and requests. I have seen watch commanders bend over backwartds for an alder or two in my day. If anybody ever asks you to drop some charges to favor a relative, look them straight in the eyes and ask, "What's in it for me?" I am assuming that the office door will already be closed as you enter. Ask for something career changing, or laugh and refuse to drop the charges. It is after all, the Chicago way. Then keep copies of all pertinent documents. Sometimes case reports and arrest reports get lost in the system. The one with the watch commanders RWC approval is of most importance.
OTHER TOPIC (IMPORTANT): I recently spoke with a guy I worked with several years ago who is now fighting for disability, the pension board took away his duty disability unjustifiably. He's been without pay for 6 months and is too embarrassed to have a benefit. He was taken off disability because the Board's Dr., Dr. Buchanan lied during her testimony during his disability hearing despite the city's recommendation that he is disabled. He showed me the hearing transcripts of her testimony and showed me a video he secretly recorded during his annual evaluation. He said one thing to her but during her testimony she twisted what he said turning it into a lie to benefit the board. I asked him why he didn't bring up the video during his hearing and he said that his attorney said it would be inadmissible. So, his advice to me was that if I ever go hurt and went that route to bring a witness when you go see Dr. Buchanan or Dr. Oris, those two will lie to benefit the Pension Board. Also, the FOP is useless, they are not helping him at all. They tell him that he has to go back to work. Readers, before you make any stupid comments about him, let me tell you, I'm surprised he didn't go on disability years ago after a T-bone accident he had. He was what we called back then the "Working Police".

This topic (layoffs) came up in a different thread a day or two ago, I will post this here for greater visibility. All the department has to do is conduct a deep-dive into the Triple P Loan Fraud police officers, the department will find around 600 to 1,000 officers who committed the fraud. That is an easy way to decimate the department. There are way too many officers who are too “smart” for their own good and received the Triple P funds. If they fire any officer for this crime, then they are pretty much cornering themselves into having to fire all of the involved officers. It appears that disciplinary actions are coming because a few officers have already been stripped.

Now Lekeshia Collins tries to "help" a family member in a narcotics/resisting arrest? Dont these people have any self awareness? I’m certainly not a fan of the show and especially of Sunny Hostin, but this was a pimpy stop and the cops should have let the kid go once they realized the gate was left open and he was just out for a run. That being said, he did call mommy to come save him. But after dealing with the asshole offspring of cops in my long career, I’d take his polite demeanor over them any day.
