Deadly Force can be used in self defense OR in defense of another. So what happened here?
A suspect was arrested after allegedly fatally shooting a man who she saw stabbing a woman Friday night in Englewood on the South Side.
The situation unfolded as a 22-year-old woman and 38-year-old Marcus Young were arguing inside a home in the 400 block of West Marquette Road around 10:55 p.m. and Young pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the woman in the abdomen, Chicago police said.
When Young pulled the 22-year-old outside of the home, a female inside the home who witnessed the altercation, shot Young in the chest. Young was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The 22-year-old was taken to the same hospital in good condition, police said.
Officers arrested the female and recovered the gun, police said. Charges were pending.
Black woman defending another black woman from being stabbed by a black man. Sounds like straight up "defense of another" at this point.
But it is the Slum Times "reporting," and we all know how inaccurate they are six-times-out-of-ten. Three-times-out-of-the-other-ten, they just lie.

She defended another person by practicing gun control, striking the offender center mass. This action saved a life and saved Illinois the cost of a trial and incarceration. Surely, she deserves a month of free range time and a complimentary box of ammunition for her efforts.
The people in charge want everyone to watch. Bring popcorn and soda so when the crap goes down you can watch from a safe vantage point. Don’t forget to video with your cellphone so you can capture the next viral video and get likes.
Relegate the Sun Times reporters,o watching Lou Grant. Maybe they'd !earn the importance of factual reporting. Bias and inaccuracies would get a reporter canned.
We are all so much safer now that the female shooter has been arrested. Whew...
She should have DE-escalated the situation.
We also have to teach police how to shoot offenders in the leg.

They have to arrest her, present the case to the State, and let the state reject it based on Self Defense. She won’t be charged.

The people have had enough of SAFE-T act, police not being able to do their job, cashless bail, catch and release, repeat offenders, being beat, robbed, burglarized, stolen car and taxed to death. Just this week alone 2 offenders got shot for trying to steal two different people's cars and one for beating on his old lady. One of them is probably going to die. Piece of paper order of protection doesn't protect shit! Calling the Police while your car is being stolen? Car is gone! File an insurance claim. Rates sky rocket. Police can't chase. Her alderman insisted she be arrested so she can later sue the CPD for false arrest and a big paycheck, followed by a contribution to the aldercreature's campaign fund.

All reporters should be required by State statute to be licensed, thus required to pass a background check, drug test, personal umbrella liability insurance and be on a readily available database listing complaints and adjudication

This is the result of the randomness of Illinois laws and Cook County's horrible leftist interpretations in particular. Every legislative act coming from Springfield flies in the face of decency for a fantasy world that does not exist. It is the only explanation. It is either that, or they are genuinely trying to get over on the law abiding citizen and wrap them so tight, they merely submit or leave.
I left for Indiana. It is not without it's own problems, but here, I at least have a say, and my legislators are not proactively trying to harm me.
