More Fata$$ Success Stories

No one seems to be making any political hay out of this:

  • A crane company is moving its headquarters from Illinois to Northwest Indiana.

Uesco Industries is moving to a long-unused building at 5009 Calumet Ave. in Hammond, Economic Development Director Juan Moreno said.

Uesco is investing $25 million in the new headquarters, Moreno said. It plans to build an overhead bridge crane manufacturing facility at the site by the Grand Calumet River, not far from the Illinois state line.

The company plans to hire 100 workers for high-paying jobs, Moreno said.

Or this:

  • Hardware giant True Value has just announced that they are moving their headquarters from Chicago, Illinois to Fort Wayne, Indiana.

It is just the latest in an exodus of big businesses which have fled Illinois on the watch of Governor JB Pritzker over the state’s high taxes and difficult business environment.

This is what happens when you allow Fata$$ to draft AND fund his own political opponents. A controlled "opposition" that won't hammer JB on crime, taxes or businesses fleeing the state at a record pace.

The sound of the "Hammond Bears" is starting to grow on me. I also have been thinking of spending retirement in the Free State of Indiana.

I don’t think they will be the last to move. A lot more companies and people will be leaving this place.

True value is moving because it was bought by an Indiana based company. They aren’t leaving because it’s Illinois.

“ICE Asks Governor J.B. Pritzker and Illinois Sanctuary Politicians to Not Release Illegal Alien Arrested After Kidnapping and Sexually Assaulting a 9-Year-Old Girl
Release Date: July 9, 2026”

Think Pritzker will abide to their request or pardon him like Gov Tim Waltz did in MN?

I get the distinct feeling that Indiana will be ruined by this. What's moving in is most likely hard core democrats.

But Governor Blimpo removed the horrible grocery tax that saved Illinois citizens a penny, that would be $0.01 cents, per dollar on grocery purchases so the commoners could now afford to pay real estate taxes on their newly purchased mansions that actually have toilets in them. Oh wait, local municipalities, cities, towns, counties were allowed to reinstate the tax locally so no savings at all. No mansions for you says Blimpo.

Why would a crane business be here in the state anyway?? Have there been any tall buildings being built lately? With all the major businesses leaving, why bother having a crane business when NO ONE is coming to Taxinois!!

Just another “beautiful day in the neighborhood” coming from the destroy-the-state Democrats. No tax base from businesses? Oh well, screw the worker bees with high taxes a little more. Need revenue to fund the Free Shit Army? No problem, just levy a few more dollars to the gas taxes, toll fees, auto-increase real estate taxes, and tack on a bigger percentage of tax to pay when you sell your home to GTFO of Killinois.

Absolutely correct. Close desirable border communities such as St. John, Crown Point and Cedar Lake are being overrun with traffic, new subdivisions and entitled minority newcomers from Illinois demanding more services and higher taxes.

The time period right after the Pandemic was crazy for homebuilders. Big national homebuilders moved in and are building hundreds of vinyl crapshacks targeting Illinois buyers.

I saw this coming, sold my home in St.John and moved to a rural area 100 miles south. Safe quiet community reminds me of the town from the movie “Hoosiers”. And no Dindu’s, and county sheriff’s officers who take no shit. Pritzker is an evil SOB who is ruining two states by pushing more liberal Illinois residents into Indiana and Lake County Democrats are more than willing to turn away from what is happening. Like Biden’s invasion just on a smaller scale.

Lake County, IN government as well as the big cities within are controlled by Democrats and have been for decades. People moving south of RT 30 (which is just about everyone) seem happy to be here and are laying low regarding politics.

This is the desired result they are looking for. Leftists want to hollow out the state so that whoever is left here are broke and beholden to government for their existence. Prison is the only way they are going to stop.

Indiana wins again and again. As I near retirement, maybe being a Hoosier isnt looking all so bad. What with all the buisness revenue they will likely hold the line on property taxes for the foresable future. Gas taxes are among the lowest in the nation and that makes for a stable economy. Southern Indiana is as beautiful as southern Illinois without all the politics.

Western Michigan was destroyed during Rahm Emmanuel's term by people fleeing Chicago and surrounds who moved to the area spanning from New Buffalo north to St. Joseph. That part of Michigan used to be solidly red and was adequate pushback to the Detroit-Flint-Saginaw blue belt. Now, the leftist crazies are all over the state, and Gretchen Whitmer is the result. Worse results are taking place nearer Detroit.

The "plus" side of southern Indiana is that the counties along the Wabash River have a unique microclimate, so winters are shorter and not as snowy. The "minus" side to southern Indiana is that things retirees may need, like quality health care and public transportation, are sorely lacking.
