Nice Court System Toni
Is there a bigger failure around that Prickwrinkle's Cook County Courts?
Two teenage boys with active arrest warrants are facing robbery charges after Chicago police said they took part in an attack on a woman in the Loop on Sunday night.
The 38-year-old woman told police she was in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue around 11:10 p.m. when she was confronted by as many as seven young males and females who took her bag and money, according to a preliminary police report.
Officers searched the area and eventually located two people believed to be involved, police said. A 17-year-old boy was arrested at 12:12 a.m. Monday, followed by the arrest of a 16-year-old boy at 1:32 a.m., both in the Loop.
Police said both boys face robbery charges, and the 17-year-old is also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. Both had active arrest warrants at the time of their arrests, according to police.
Running a close second is Fata$$'s corrections system:
A Chicago man who avoided serving any prison time after pleading guilty to a felony gun case in March is now behind bars after prosecutors said he committed two residential burglaries while on parole— and while wearing an Illinois Department of Corrections ankle monitor.
Cortez Washington, 19, cut a sweet deal in March. He pleaded guilty to a felony gun case and a reduced misdemenaor charge in an auto theft case in exchange for an 18-month prison sentence that was satisfied entirely by 264 days he spent in the county jail. Prosecutors now say Washington squandered that opportunity in less than three months.
Between the SAFE-T Act, the "no cash bail" disaster, and the crooked Parole Board that is incapable of seeing that past behavior is the SINGLE BIGGEST INDICATOR of recidivism, it's a wonder that anyone is ever actually in a prison.
And it's an even bigger wonder that republicans don't run on this issue and hammer the crap out of democrats.
Labels: county, crime, state politics

It boggles my mind how the general public doesn’t seem to give a shit about this piss poor system. Was given 18 months but walks away with nothing cause he served about 260 days in County…? How is 260 days 18 months…. At that point why even bother “convicting” him? Whole system is broken af
"seven young two legged male and female animals who took her bag and money"
there... I fixed it
The problem is Preckwinkle and Pritzker, Democrats
There are no republicans in Illinois, only RINOs
Bonehead, Turkey Neck, and Fat Chops are the Three Stooges.
Jelly Bean and Preckwinkle don’t give a damn about working class taxpayers. They only care about themselves.
The Republicans here and in DC are cowards.
Did she press charges?
It appears the only group held accountable in Illinois are its law enforcement officers, especially in Chicago. I was exonerated of my most serious allegations on my CR number , but was given a 2 day suspension for farting on BWC and not saying excuse me.
If the Leftists want to allow unfettered criminal behavior, the general public who are not criminals should be able to stop them by any available means at hand without any penalty. It is only fair. No one voted to give up their rights to defend themselves. Only the politicians and the courts think that you are the one in the wrong. Screw them!
Vote Red!
Walking around down there at 11pm, she must be a demoCRAP so IDGAF
Thanks to the Democrats when you vote for any of them you’re voting for a criminal
We moved to Florida to avoid the Chicago violence and political scum. Good Move.
99 percent of politicians are the same, they just sing a different tune.
There's a tiny percentage on both sides that are true to the oaths they took.
People care..they are just uneducated and unaware of what's really going on..people are caught up in their own bubble and remain ignorant
They bragged about tearing down a porition of the Cook county jail because it meant less people...in jail!
It only matters when it happens to their family members..then its our fault for doing nothing to prevent it
The day for day sentence reduction was originally for good behavior while incarcerated. Not sure when it became automatic or when they decided to apply it to electronic monitoring, but if a person is committing crimes while on electronic monitoring, how is that good behavior?
Darts a big part of the problem
Had dinner at a pizza restaurant in the 800 block of North State Street last night. Surprised to see a group of hood rats dressed like hood rats walking down the street like they belong there.
Shoot'em like Bronson shot the ...."giggler"....Classic.
I believe your suspension was two days for talking shit
HA !!!
I think you forgot an important part of the description..."the usual."
