Attack of the DEI Hair-Gels
A few commentators - not many, but a few - have been demanding we condemn Trump's pardons of the J6 protestors because some of them attacked police officers. Those claiming that anything J6-related had to do with police deaths have obviously been taken in by democrat propaganda. As to the injuries suffered by various police, well.....
Here's the thing - the Capitol Police are without a doubt, the most corrupt "police force" currently in existence. They are nothing more than a want-to-be Praetorian Guard, accountable to no one except whomever is currently at the wheels of power. They are hired, fired, promoted and protected based solely on political affiliation, not actual qualifications. If any other police officer had shot an unarmed woman climbing through a window to escape a dead end hallway she was being crushed in, guess where they'd be? And if any other police beat an unconscious woman to death in the Capitol tunnels, guess where they'd be? There's video of both of these incidents and more....easily findable with a basic search.
We've also seen the footage of Capitol Police opening the doors to the Capitol and welcoming protestors walking through. Some exchanged waves and handshakes, and even gave directions. You cannot welcome people into a building you're supposed to be protecting, treat them politely as guests, then lock the doors and claim trespassing. Combine all of that with the still unrevealed fbi undercover operatives, the assorted panty-fa pretenders dressed as Trump supporters, the other plants on radios directing people to which doors were about to be opened.....cops are supposed to be bullshit detectors and all our alarm bells were ringing off the hook.
For all the screaming about "insurrection" and "treason," there still hasn't been a single charge of either levied against any from that day. However, there have been many hundreds charged with "trespassing," a tiny misdemeanor in just about every circumstances as long as a gun wasn't present, and sentences ranging up to (and beyond) four years. And that doesn't even count those held for three years and more without trial.
And the "trials," hoo-boy. The feds would put together a twenty minute video of all of the pushing, shoving, sticks and thrown objects....then they'd insert a six-second clip of the defendant walking through an open door and the judge would allow it over defense objections and ::bam:: guilty of the top charges. The conviction rate was almost 100% across the board. It was show trials reminiscent of shit that went on behind the Iron Curtain and still goes on in places like China and North Korea. The entire process was tainted beyond anything resembling justice. And unfortunately, cops got hurt due to the actions of the House leadership and the people she put in charge.
If you could run a fair trial with actual evidence....and the defendants were allowed to view video (which they weren't) to mount a real defense, we'd support that. But we've said before and for many years while defending things that many leftists and media-types claimed were indefensible:
- Cops aren't above the Law, but neither should they be under it.
Unfortunately for all involved, the Capitol "police" acted outside of the Law, acted above the Law, acted as if the Rule of Law didn't even apply to them. Turns out....it didn't. And based on the last minute pardons for all the involved witnesses and those who destroyed evidence, they doomed this entire scenario to the garbage heap of fucked-up incidents for which there will probably never be accountability.
Oh, and Trump pardoned two DC Officers the same day who were tried and convicted for daring to chase a moped rider who was driving on the sidewalk, endangering countless civilians, evading police and who ended up getting hit by a car coming out of an alley. Stupidity lead to his demise and Crimesha's political twin charged and convicted them in a show trial.
Figure that one out.
