The beginning of the end?
Breaking news from Channel 9 and the Tribune. Daley questioned for two hours by the US Attorney's Office with both Mara Georges and his own personal attorney. What might they have been talking about?

Two Hours? Daley went that long without a snack? No way.....
Wonder if the topic of his outfit choice for Supt. came up.
It all depends, but the obvious question to ask here is "who was the attorney he brought in?"
I don't see how it wasn't a high-end white collar criminal defense guy, but I'd love confirmation.
If anybody gets the name of the lawyer please provide it and I promise to get back with a review of the guy's credentials (unless they are easily ascertainable or already well known).
Robert Cooley, Esq.
Just a guess, but I'd put my money on Pat Tuitte
Daley's personal attorney is John K. Villa, a Washington D.C. powerhouse who specializes in, among other areas, white collar crime. In the 1970's, Villa was an attorney for the Dept. of Justice as well as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Columbia. In short, Villa is someone who knows how the U.S. Attorney conducts investigations.
The following address is to John Villa's biography.

Bringing in a heavy hitter like that, Mayor Daley must be feeling his shoes are starting to pinch.
I thought he'd use Alan Ackerman, or will Klein use him.
Welp, I have a source or two at White & Case. Guess its time to catch up!
I can't fucking wait for this house of extortionist cards to collapse.
Poor Richie Rich shoulda called the W.A.A.C.O. Ranch and got W's permission to have Dick Cheney as his co-pilot- remember this?
"...While President Bush and Vice President Cheney did ultimately agree to testify in front of the 9/11 Commission, they did so only under several conditions:
- That they would be allowed to testify jointly;
- That they would not be required to take an oath before testifying;
- That the testimony would not be recorded electronically or transcribed, and that the only record would be notes taken by one of the commission staffers;
- That these notes would not be made public.
However, the Commission did insist that Cheney be required to drink from a glass of water every time he allowed Bush to speak..." ;-)
FYI.....it's Cline not Klein.
Already corrected. its Williams and Connolly. Shoulda checked the email and not made the assumption. Sorry.
This is the begining of the end of Daley and he knows that's the case.
The best part of Richard M ran down the leg of Richard J.
I want to hear about is Daley learning the Buga-Buga first hand in some frderal joint. Daley will be someone's bitch.
Hey the FOP is doing a great job. President Donahue should be commended. After the contract he gave us, he and his whole crew should be re-elected for ten years. They are the greatest!!!
It just struck me that they've had weeks to schedule this. The USAO refused to conduct the interview in city hall. Daley sensed the need to get a high-power DC lawyer (who I nevertheless cannot recall hearing of before).
And yesterday the city moves to fire 47 workers for misconduct. Last week, 3 police officers indicted for separate incidents.
I'm just sayin. You think that's a coincidence?
He's setting up to use cleanliness as a defense. If any of the readers have bad habits, don't get cleaned. Don't become his distraction. Don't become his defense.
We all know that a really, really large number of city employees don't always follow the rules to the "T". Its impossible, particularly given the exhaustive, contradictory and myriad rules that we were given. Its difficult knowing how much we are mistreated.
But please don't become his distraction. Don't become his defense.
God bless each and every one of you.
I can't wait to hear that Daley is getting his peanutbutter repacked by Will in the can.
I heard Daley is using TOM PLEINES from FOP.
He'll drop the soap on purpose!

If Daley needs an attorney he should ask the retired sergeant who visits this site. He knows all kinds of them. Send an e-mail.
Mr. Fitz
Please ask the King about his merit promotional process, how some Lts. who have degrees in accounting or law, have graduated from the FBI academy or Northwestern Police Management and have run the watches for five years plus cannot be made Captains. But a thief precinct captain from the 19th ward who got caught taking free food products from Jays and then selling the food stuffs to the Arab grocers on the southside (cutting the Jays salesmen saleries and commisions)
is now a POOLICE Captain. HOW About Sgt. Stealing -time signing in at court on cases he wasnt on, making almost twenty grand in overtime as a dick is now a Sgt. How about Mister 005 tact sgt, who braggs about HDO making him a sergeant, but as a po had domestic altercations, was mia as a p/o.
How about all the patronage Sgts at SOS. 80 percent are merit sgts, the Sergeant watch commander used to brag how he did nothing in 005 and 001. Great Leaders Mr. Fitz..
Mr. Fitz I do not have an IR # and I thought that being a thief on the police dept. was wrong..
Who can I give my resume to. (of course the cash is in the envelope)
Please don't forget the HDO/LAPA Captain who should be in prision for taking underage girls across state lines. Who do you gotta rape to make Capt.?
Scott Peterson
John Wayne Gacy Jr.
Richard Speck
Ted Bundy
Richard M. Nixon...........
All said the same thing Daley said.....
I don't think I am the focus of the investigation!
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Does Daley remind anyone else of Sgt. Schultz from HOGAN'S HEROS.
"I know NOTHING! NOTHING!...and I can prove it."
And another thing....Who is pay for Attorney John Villa?
Yeah, follow the money, who is paying for John Villa, the first member of the Daley Defense Dream Team?
I would give up a years pay to be the guy who got to put the cuffs on that little prick!
The count is almost in....mayor daley had 723 studders, 376 abba dabba abba's, and, 1000 "Im not gunna comment on that", along with 6000 "its common sense". The mayor then ordered that large X's be made upon the public ways of the Federal building.
