Exempt Changes

:::shaking fist at readers again:::

In another stunning breakdown of the rumor system, numerous exempt changes were made in the past hour or so and NO ONE TOLD US! Thanks to those who posted in the comments section to let everyone know. Here's what we sort of have so far:

McCotter out of Special Events over to ADS of Patrol Bureau
Lanuti out of Traffic to Special Events
Frank Limon to Chief of OCD
Capt. Kolman (018) to Traffic
Capt. Bob Evans (022) to Commander of Field Monitoring
Capt. Price (016) gets 016
Skahill shunted to ADS of CAPS.

The odd one out here seems to be Skahill. Everyone knows Starks got pushed off into a CAPS role as punishment. Is Skahill being pushed aside too? We'll publish again when we get a hold of the press release.

Well, at least we in Patrol got McCotter back. Thats a start in the right direction. Now if we could only get rid of the rest of the bean counting, ladder climbing, number crunchin, know nothing, do nothing Police wannabes that we refer to as "exempts" we would be in good shape.

Mccotter is D/C of Patrol now, it's about time, what a prince of a guy, well deserving; Ralph Price is Commander 016, Skahill is now ADS of CAPS taking Limon's spot, I don't think its a dump, if so, she wouldn't have gone from Lt. to Commander 007 to D/C Patrol in a few years. 016 look out, Price is brutal. Don't know much about the rest.

to: 03:00....I would hestitate about that....look into his experience, i.e., where did he work, and for how long at each place? How does/did he treat his co-workers ? Wherever he worked, what did he do (or not do)? Who/what is his political clout, and if so, is the clout of the highest integrity or tainted?.......

Coleman is a PSYCHOTIC BITCH that was in 024, killed the watch worse than the current capt....went to 011 and hit the medical until her juice could get her out of there, haven't heard how she was in 018....Watch out

Maybe Price is what 016 needs right now....God knows the majority need a fire lit under their asses

Skahill is an idiot! She was dumped into the same useless unit that Starks was exiled to. The First Deputy of CAPS and the ADS of CAPS. What a joke. Limon was dying to get out of there. Good for him he is a top notch boss.

I don't know about positions in CAPS....but, CAPS is useless, and irrelevant. If the CPD has positions, (deputies, assistant deputies, lts., sgts. etc.,) in CAPS, thne they should all get chopped, ELIMINATED....right now

Charles Williams is Deputy Supt Bureau of Patrol not Assistant Deputy Supt (ADS) that would be McCotter.

11/01/2005 11:02:00 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Anyone notice they have not named a Chief of Bureau of Patrol yet...this is why:
Once Starks "retires" it will open up the only 3 star position in the budget(1st Deputy). That will be given to Charles Williams (since he is wearing 2 stars now - former designation of Chief of Patrol) When that happens Deputy Chief Dugan will be promoted to Chief of Patrol (2 stars) and all of the street deputies (ADS's) will report to Williams (including McCotter).
Skahill??? not sure. But don't tell anyone I told you this stuff

I agree, I worked for Evans when he first made Captain and came to the 8th district on 3rd watch. Seemed like a real stand-up guy. When he moved over to 22 I thought for sure he was going to be made the commander.
As for his new job, I never heard of it. If I had to take a guess I would have to say its the new name for the inspectors unit.

Commander Wheeler was a gentleman and let the Sgts/Lts supervise the Dets. My guess is he was fed up with the nonsense from 35th St where they expect all supervisors to be versed in every inane detail of every agg bat, homicide, CSA, armed robbery etc. Just so they can impress each other at ALL those silly meetings. Maher is a joke
