Check your Money

Especially if you work on the south side. Counterfeit $20's and $100's have been popping up with increasing regularity. Some gangs are using a technique knows as bleaching:
  • After his arrest last May, Folkes and the agents returned to his South Side motel room. As a video camera rolled, he bleached legitimate $5 notes and printed $100 fakes on the blank paper. Folkes admitted to providing a police informant with $8,300 in phony money in exchange for $1,900 in genuine currency.
The Sun Times article describes methods of determining a bills validity, but forewarned is forearmed.

Hey Lefty,

How many hits have you had on your blog lately?????

Probably not even as many suckholes that showed up to that waste-of-time protest.

Face it, your constant whining and complaining is getting tired.

If you hate the way things are going in this country so much, then why don't you do something about it. Otherwise, just shut the fuck up already.

If anyone knows any Will County guys, please pass along my compliments. I only hope we treat outside agencies half as well. I passed, I'll be the old crusty guy walking around with the Desert Eagle. God bless all police, I know he has blessed me. adois muchachos.

A few minutes later the same caller calls back to the same Cook County Board operator and asks to speak to Cook County Board President John Stroger. The operator again responds with Stroger is gravely ill due to a stroke. The caller hangs up.

A few minutes later the same caller calls back to the same Cook County Board operator and asks to speak to Cook County Board President John Stroger. The operator asks the caller, aren't you the same guy who just called twice asking for President John Stroger? The caller responds by saying, Yes.
The operator asks, Why do you keep calling after I told you Stroger is gravely ill with a stroke?
The caller responds with, I just like hearing that!

Police officer seriously hurt in N. Side accident

March 20, 2006

A 24-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department was seriously injured Monday morning in a traffic accident on the North Side, according to a release from police News Affairs.

The male officer, 51, from the Albany Park District, was responding to a call for service in a marked squad car when his vehicle was struck by a Toyota 4-Runner at about 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Pulaski Road and Peterson Avenue, the release said. He was taken by ambulance to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

According to police, the officer’s car was northbound on Pulaski and the driver of the SUV was westbound on Peterson. All traffic had stopped at the intersection yielding to the squad car’s emergency equipment, but the driver of the Toyota circumvented the stopped vehicles and struck the squad in the intersection, the release said.

The driver of the Toyota, Simon Marma, 39, of the 5700 block of North Maplewood Avenue, refused medical attention, police said.

Marma was issued several traffic citations, including failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to keep in lane. He was also issued a municipal ordinance violation for damage to city property, police said. He will appear in traffic court at 1:30 p.m. May 10 in the Daley Center.

The city can have a unit to chase a taxi/livery, but can not get citizens to pull over for emergency vehicles? Unreal.

Prayers for the Office.

I Agree with 12:16:34 Proactive police work is a gamble that you will lose in the long run. NO bosses will back you up. 20 yrs ago bosses told me if I was right in making a police decision THEY would back me up 100%. My response: If I'M RIGHT I don'tneed you, when I make a mistake I'll need your help. Any comments?

If those rat motherfucker politicians and brass don't come out for Gilhooly and Rappaport after their damn election tomorrow, you can stick a fork in the CPD as DOA.

Any research whatsoever will show that Hampton and the Panthers were stone cold thug cop killers and a disgrace to most black people.

Will history record that filthy politics killed the pride, honor and integrity of "Chicago's Finest?"

Daley is beyond pathetic.

Speaking of hard-core political sell-outs, the NYPD RANT is hysterical tonight.

Due to his striking resemblance to "Popeye the Sailor", the NYPD has nicknamed their police commissioner, Raymond Kelly, "POPEYE".

Go to the NYPD RANT (see right column) and check out the post "Behold the AGE of PC Popeye has arrived."

A poster will be widely circulated throughout the NYPD depicting
"Popeye" Kelly in his sailor outfit with his pipe and he's drinking a can of...

Maybe we should make a poster depicting Dirty Lil Richie serving up the KOOL-ADE to Cline and his "command staff". What a brainwashed bunch of sorry-ass "bosses"!

Keep drinking the Kool-Ade, you fuckin' pussies!

If Daley and Cline don't damn the Panthers to hell by Wednesday, they should be condemned as the cowards that they are.

828 and 1056

CW and Pendleton stories were aflow in the 2nd and 3rd dist's. in the late 80's. Pendleton if I have the name right went to 3rd dist. with promotion after the baggin.
All I can recall, coppers were allegedly set up to deliver the dist. money share/payouts to CW for her CO, in a hotel room.
Rumor had it, CW was caught up and used. I did say rumor about how she had gotten involved. She was then promoted and was sent to work at IAD visably. Whether she herself was dirty is questionable, natch by the cops caught up and those simply wanting to know.
