Now we're issuing Community Alerts warning of bad heroin:
- Chicago police on Monday issued a community alert to warn residents, especially those in the West Side Ogden District, against accepting and using free drugs they believe to be heroin.
This is wrong on so many levels. Most wrong of all is the name "Ogden District." Anyone who calls Marquette the "Ogden" District ought to be strangled with their own radio cord. 010 is and always will be Marquette, just as 011 is and always will be Fillmore (or "Fillmo" for you purists). What do they call 018 now? 015 got to keep their name.
Second of all, you get what you pay for in quality control issues with heroin.
And finally, we'd rather see them using the extra manpower to put up an extra wagon on the west side to pick up dead bodies than use them to pass out flyers and issue Community Alerts. Here's a news flash for the Department - ALL HEROIN IS BAD, no matter what corner it is sold or given away on.

You know what's ironic about all this heroin nonsense? If the people who distibute this killer batch ever get caught, they'll probably be charged with something cool like attempted murder. Yet, the mopes who deal the "good" stuff every day would only be charged with delivery or possession. Go figure.

So wonder the City of Chicago hasn't sent our officers to anymore out-of-town deployments. Sounds like it was a girls gone wild deployment. Is any of these stories true or just SCC blog nonsense?

It is how this department handles and problem....from murders to dogs crapping on the lawn....make another stack of useless paper.

So after reading all of these posts I think that my wife and I have noooo problems compared to what's going on in the department. I'm not doing anyone but her. However....she feels that I am not the understanding, gentle, caring, loving, metrosexual that I should be. Especially with all of the role models I have within the department who exhibit such on a regular basis.
So she figures we need someone to tell us how to have a better marriage and she drags my ass to the department counselor - the EAP counselor (407 s Dearborn). We sit down in this guy's office and it is clear to me in about 5 seconds (nothing gets by me) that this guy is an alternative lifestyle person (F.H.) and he proceeds to tell me how I could be a better husband. How the hell does he know, I wonder. Maybe he uses his partner as a role model.
How the department can have this person doing MARRIAGE counseling is beyond me.
So, if the wife drags YOU in for counseling you might check out which team your counselor is playing for.

Cause its not cool to defend the police, you should know that by now.
People who stick poison needles in their body deserve what they get.
Giving out that free heroin is like "thinning the herd"!
