For Sale - SOLD!
Governor Blago signed a bill today granting property tax exemptions to the unnamed consortiums that the City hopes will bail them out of having to raise taxes on everything under the sun. From the Sun Times:
- Chief Financial Officer Dana Levenson said City Hall will move carefully now that property tax exemptions have been granted to private investors who lease Midway, the Millennium Park, Grant Park North and South and Monroe Street garages and three transfer stations where recyclables are separated from routine garbage.
So now they've sold the Skyway and they want to sell 5 parking garages and 3 garbage sorting centers. Next up? Any guesses?

You need to look at Aspira what a joke that is, these groups are unreal. Were all being chumped. Check out Aspira 1966, 1961 and current. They changed their purpose from soley Pureto Rico to all Latinos, yep all the illegals. Check out all the players Pols, Fed Grants, Corporations mismanagement of funds lack of record keeping, trips to PR with money that was suppose to be spent on feeding low income children for radical action. Their non-profit charter schools Daleys newest baby and One Big Money maker. In NY, NJ, PA, FL, here and PR. Dig alittle and research. Get ready to grit your teeth.
Wait till he privatizes the Police Dept. Think it can't be done? It's already started. Remember when we had POLICE OFFICERS directing traffic in the Loop or at major events? Now we have these guys from TMA doing that. Remember when we had POLICE OFFICERS sitting back from stop signs or at major intersections enforcing traffic laws? Now we have cameras doing that. Remember when we had POLICE OFFICERS setting or establishing policy for the Police Dept.? Now we have civlians in the CAPS office who do that.
On the other side of the coin, do you remember when PARENTS used to raise their children and teach them right from wrong?
Nowadays, the police do that.
Remember when we used to have police? Beat cops who could stay on their beats? Rapids ? Wagons?
Remember when there was 11,000 calls for service in a 24 hr period 8 yrs ago and now we are over 20,000? Remember when you only needed a high school education to get the job? Remember when they enforced College requirement and only a fraction applied?
People with work ethics don't have college degrees.......
Or sector cars.
Lets put sandwich boards on Daley saying "Look For The Union Label", he could stand out on LaSalle St. and hand out coupons for KFC.

Two years ago, I read in the Wall Street Journal that he sold the 911 building. I never saw it written anywhere else, nor does that ever get talked about. What else has this prick already let go of?
While the 911 building is partially boarded up, the Cabrini 7-story bldg. is still occupied by CHA residents at Hudson and Locust, northeast corner.
