Shooting in 010
Preliminary report from Channel 7 News. Anyone have info? Anyone hit?
May 31, 2006 (Last Updated: 10:25:49 PM) - Police on Chicago's West Side were involved in a shooting in the 1300 block of South Troy Wednesday night.
No police officers were hurt.Investigators were still on the scene at the time this report was filed.

It happened at 2145 at 1300 S. Trumbull or Drake. Officers responded to shots fired in the area and encountered some Traveling Vice Lords, one of which pointed his weapon at an officer. Officer shoots in self defense. Just Cause has been initiated.

SWAT and SOS got no game in this major league...When we shoot-we terminate with prejudice...TRU that!! AREA 2 Gun team can't lace our combat boots...
TRU are good-we'll give you that, but many "seasoned" officers in the Districts you SATURATE are elite in ways you will never comprehend. Remember, we Beat officers, have your back when you are SATURATING us...We'll give "y'all" props when you acknowledge us when we come as your backup. You know who you are...FYI, SOS rules!

They need to quit the point system in SOS and take some of the pressure off those guys, they have been laying low lately anyway, rumor is a big beef coming down that way, sucks, point system needs to go,so do the cool hoodies...lol
What big beef? Point system for arrests? Which genius came up with that idea?
They have had a point system there forever, guns get the most points, hence the wheeling and dealing...
