Police Officers had to put down a dog (animal) in the 008th District at approximately 1030hrs. today after it had attacked 2 little girls. Well, after doing the Miscellaneous Incident Exception Card ADS Sandra K. Day (Operational Services)arrived and demanded Detectives. A call to the A/1 was met with, no detectives are need and none are coming out. ADS Day called C.O. Walsh of A-1 who ordered a team of Detectives sent out on this Police Shooting!. A Police Shooting!, do these two dumb broads have any idea what they are doing. Day and Walsh wanted to know how many holes were in the dog and had the dog taken to Western Ave. to be checked out at Animal Control. These two dumb broads wanted and thought the gun should be inventoried and Crime Lab personnel sent out. Thanks to the Detectives, it was stopped. Come on Cline are you reading the reports Day and Walsh are submitting.

I work in A1. A couple months ago a tact sgt in 021 was almost run over by a man wanted on an armed robbery warrant. The sgt (on foot) took one shot at the car, the driver veered off and was apprehended by a 002nd district sgt a couple blocks later. The shot hit the window. The shell was found where the sgt said it would be. NO ONE WAS HIT. NO WITNESSES. Everyone agreed it was a good shoot, end of story. ADS day shows up and demands a round table. Every detective, including Lt. Farrel looks at her like she has 2 heads. ADS Day's useless driver then parades around the scene and A1 demanding this and that. ADS Day flirts with every M/1 upstairs, then takes 5 fucking hours for the most useless, waste of time, manpower and money, round table of all time, while her useless driver acts like a fucking boss. Absolutely clueless bitch. Never used a pair of handcuffs, and will hurt a working copper. Don't get me started on Walsh.

The shooting (no hits thank God) happened down the block. So Detective Street Deputy Day, decided to question all of the bank tellers and the rest of the people in the bank. After they had all been interviewed by Area 1 and the FBI VCTF. She is useless. And her driver is a fucking mush too. Tries to push people around as a P.O. because of her. Fuck that idiot too.

Hi guys, Agent Bauer here. I'm thinking of leaving CTU and joining the Chicago Police Department but I'm not sure if it would be a good move. I'm worried about getting promoted. If I do join up, what do most of you think my chances of getting promoted are? I've got a pretty good record and I am a "street guy" who's been "in the shit". Will any of that help?

ADS Day is about as harmless as a snail. She would never hurt a copper who acted in good intention. She is a sweet woman and good leader.

Yes, it may be true that both ladies were promoted through the ranks quickly. And they may know less than some of their counterparts. But they don't act like they know it all either. You can argue your point with either lady.
For all those that attend court at Skokie, our "favorite" judge is GONE. Epstein was sent downtown, hopefully the piece of shit is having a miserable time. 0015- I worked for Crump-Hales in 002-she is RETARDED. You obviously aren't a working copper, otherwise you'd have noticed. She can barely read an arrest report. She could not read and approve a DUI, because she had no idea what everything meant-so she just asked the desk sgt if it was ok. She will get a CR on a working copper, will not back you up, and will "lead" by enforcing things like dress code. Don't expect to get into a TRR situation and have her believe the police if you are white. Day belongs as a PO on a desk somewhere-dumb as a rock. Walsh is nice, but has no business being a police officer. What a fucking joke.

The reason Day wanted a round table for the Sgt. shooting in 021, and probably for the dog-shooting, is that they are easy, no responsibility round tables. Day stays down on easy jobs, especially if there is a chance for bullshit overtime. She and her bitch F/1 driver (who can't spell promotion, but will probably get a merit one) work days only, steal OT from the city, and are only there because she is Stroger's neice.

ADS's do get overtime, as well as there drivers. Check your facts before you post.

ADS's in general do not get paid overtime. Street deputies are on an hourly schedule (10 hour shifts) unlike exempts such as DC's, other ADS's etc. They get overtime.
Day is Strogers "niece." She'll tell you herself if you ask. Who knows if that means "play neice" or actual neice. And Maher is Gutierrez' cousin. And pretending either is where they are because of what kind of cops they are, or were, is assinine.
Both Day and Maher are held in total contempt as unworthy of any rank whatsoever.
I don't know about OT for ADS, but I think you missed the point. If her driver alone gets the $, she gets to adjust the hours and cheat the city of even more time carrying to the next day. She harps on the small things (like most bad supervisors) so that she doesn't encounter something she may have to use her brain for, or for something that might show her lack of knowledge.

I have spent 11 years on the streets doing search warrants, tac, and just being the police like a lot of us, but will never have the opp. to be a "driver" and make merit SGT. for driving a car! Post the "driver's" name, lets wait and see if she makes SGT.

Having 25 years on the job doesn't mean that Day isn't a joke, politically connected (via Stroger), stays down on easy jobs, or steals time/money from the city.
I don't know her driver's name, but I'll check the seniority list for Unit 140 and see how many
F/1 P.O.s there are in the unit-I don't think very many P.O.s are assigned there, so it might be easy to find out.

Don't know which city college fluff course it is, but there were plenty of coppers in the class with her who will tell the story.
