- hilarious incident on zone ten today! seems the feds were surveilling some dope spot and noticed the dealer meet with another individual. the feds wanted to know who the second goof was, so they called the zone as they were following the car so CPD could do a traffic stop and maybe a contact card on the guy. well, you would have thought it was John Dillinger in the car! about 10 cars from 010 chased this guy into 011 and pulled him over. no tickets, no contact card, nothing. do you think this asshole realizes something is up now? he just talks to his guy and then 10 police cars show up? the only good thing is that now a bunch of us know what the FBI is driving on the west side.
We'd love to get more stories like this.

Newbreed coppers not thinking AGAIN !!
This site should be called "Whiny Bitchy Newbreeds" pathetic f*ckin crybabies.
I was there it was too funny..clearly the FED requested a traffic stop for information purposes..only..and the troops coming running..i counted six squads..as i sat a block behind the feds covert car.. wasnt too hard to find..dispatcher advise all cars to disreagard and stated the fed was on scene with the Fighting 010..which wasnt the case at least he knew not to heat up the suspect..
and another thing.in 011...FELONY REVEIW had the Police escort their Prisoner to the front desk and put him on the phone to question him on his role in the stolen vehicle..which was chased and he bailed from alone and then was chased on foot and finally caught..what a scene three cops standing around the handcuffed prisoner while they held the phone for him..and then Fel. rev. aske d the POs to bring him back a second time...so yesterday was a laugh a minute day..
Read in Sneed's column yesterday that the Shity will conduct one massive evac/fire drill on 07 Sep for the entire Loop. any info?

Old story from a few years back: 013th District car is assigned to a minor property damage only traffic accident at California Ave. and Fulton St. Some neat, clean looking black guy is driving a car containing two preppy looking white guys and blows the stop sign and strikes a car containing a bustout driving without a license. Upon arrival the beat car is informed by the white guys that they are both FBI agents and the black guy is a CHA police officer working undercover on some task force-I think it was one that targeted Jack Bobo and the Black Souls. The beat guy says not to worry as the bustout will surely get the ticket anyway since he was driving without a license, but then states it was gonna cost the CHA copper twenty bucks! The humorless FBI agents were aghast and then eeked out a chuckle when the beat guy started laughing, "Just kidding, guys!" The black CHA copper then asked the FBI agents if he should provide the beat car with his real drivers license, or his "FBI issued license" featuring a differnt identity. Yes, they are out there.
Just goes to show you how many STUPID coppers work here. Way to go dummies.
Just like how the brain surgeon coppers go to the door of the old lady that called the police on the dope dealers in front of her residence (frontn' her off). Do you think she will ever call again, I think not.
How about you get info from a snitch, you lock up ole boy with dope, $, gun. The bad guy and your snitch both live in the same bldg. Your walking the bad guy into the station and the stupid copper that hit the crib with you "only" because you needed extra bodys for the strike tells another copper who was standing in the hall " hey - we ran into Little Joe off of Winchester today". This was said RIGHT in-front of the bad guy who of course knows Little Joe lives right underneath him in the apartment bldg. Way to go dummy. If the snitch is lucky enough to live, do you think he'll ever give you any further information, I think not. Be safe out there!!!!!!

This is the first time I visited this site and I must say Im amuzed by the concept of police officers being little gossip bitches. I found the articles about the 18th district roll call hilarious.
What is the FBI driving on the west side? The cheapo dodge charger (rent a car looking one), new impala's and don't forget the Chysler 300's with the chrome rims. Really makes you wonder were the money is coming from? Just look for the car with the magnetic balck antanna on the trunk, illegal all around tint, and if you could see inside, you would see agents afraid to get out of the car, or agents who could not get out of the car because their egos are so big they might get stuck getting the big heads out if they had to run and call the real police. Similar experience happened to me. Working a robbery surveillance a few years back in 22nd District. Using a covert vehicle. I asked the zone to have a beat car due a "traffic stop" on a vehicle we were watching. Additionally I requested that whatever beat car makes the stop to do a contact card on the driver and one passenger.
My request was over the zone and clearly heard by the zone and the beat cars.
Next thing I know, a couple of marked cars and a couple of tactical cars pull the car over and also box it in with their vehicles. They proceeded to pull both the driver and occupant out and with "minimum necessary force" and I use that phrase loosely, they threw these two suspects to the ground on their bellies.
One officer who was standing right next to these two suspects goes on the radio and asks to mobile with the officers in the "undercover car" who requested this stop. After I acknowledged I was on the air, the officer asks, Are these the two guys you wanted?
RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TWO SUSPECTS.
Being able to see the officers and suspects from our vantage point and knowing full well these suspects will hear my transmission I responded, NO! I don't know why you stopped those black guys, the two guys we wanted we stopped were white!
Needless to say, the two male black subjects that they had stopped started yelling and screaming at the officers and saying the typical shit about the unfair racial stop and how they let the white man get away.
As pissed as my partner and I were about them blowing the traffic stop and failing to make it look like just a traffic stop, we both laughed our asses off and drove away.
Maas and I then went to lunch and sat back laughing during our whole meal!
Coppers can be so stupid sometimes.

On behalf of our memorial, I sent a fax to Mayor Daley asking him to give you guys a drill in the Loop, along with the Fire, TMA's, CTA, etc. for disaster training.
Fuck the FBI....let them do their own work cauz one day when you fuck up it will be the very FBI that you are driving balls out to help by doing an illegal traffic stop that will put you in jail...FUCK the FBI
You guys bashing the Feds have never had any experience with them at all, obviously. I have, and can tell you that it's exactly the same as CPD: some of them are the real deal, good guys and hell bent on doing their job correctly. Some of them are just like our own dog asses who won't get out of the car. And you are right, they DO read this shitfest of a site.
If you are doing the right thing, you should have nothing to fear from anyone. You all know it. It's just easier to take sortcuts and then blame someone else down the road when you get called on it. Be a man, take some responsibility for your own actions and act like a professional, not some rogue who makes the rules up to fit his own agenda. You'll sleep better at night, and never have to worry about the big bad FBI or anyone else!!!

In your own "words" if you are stopping a guy for no reason...other then his color....you need to be indicted, the sooner, the better. How the hell did you get on this job anyway.

We got older, smarter, and moved on to better things.

All the real police of days back either retired or got promoted. Only real one left from the "old days" is a Lt. on 2nd watch--TH.
Has our fearless "Commander in Chief", Phil Cline lost total control of the Department or what?
I think a quick perusal oif the following incidents indicates what many fear to be true.
1. The SOS scandal that is ongoing, 9-16 coppers gone totally rogue and corrupt and possibly getting indicted shortly.
2. The racial incident between white SOS officers and black 15th district officers played out in the street almost igniting a riot.
3. The racial incident in 019 between a white Sgt. AH and officers and a black exempt Commander Matthews and his PO son over an alleged gang member.
4. OCD corruption and a boiling scandal emerging.
5. Sexual harrassment scandals involving bosses and lawsuits against the Dept. and city emerging shortly.
6. Traffic Unit scandals involving graft and sexual favors.
7. A Vice/Prostitution Unit investigation involving graft and corruption of officers.
8. 18th District roll call with civilians addressing and berating sworn officers at the Superintendant's behest to appease the masses of Ccabrini residents in an election year. This occurs in front of the District Commander, Watch Commander, and numerous Sgts and PO's.
9. Coppers getting DUI's in record numbers and involved in a multitude of alcohol related off-duty incidents at an absolutely alarming rate. 1/5 of the CPD now taking anti-depressants and carry firearms, all being sanctioned by the Department.
10. Coppers/Bosses convicted of crimes getting their assignments back because of ethnic considerations in an election year. Other bosses who have been charged with crimes/felonies sit on the payroll for years with impugnity. Most of these individuals are politically connected and all wear awhite shirt. Whatever happened to that Sgt. who raped that woman out South? He was in the County Jail for several weeks, posted bond and last I heard was still working at ARPS as a supervisor. Unbelievable indicted on multiple felonies, in jail and still working as a boss, only on the CPD. What the fuck Cline?
11. Critical manpower shortages citywide with redeployment of district manpower on a daily basis to "high crime" areas causin g a serious vaccum in quieter areas. IE. spikes in burglaries, robberies, gang activity, auto theft,etc.
12. 7th District/Englewood "Just the Tip of the Iceberg Federal Investigation" - gang,graft,drug, robbery scandal.
Phil you will soon have your time in grade/rank locked in to qualify for that 75% PENSION AT SUPERINTENDANT PAY. Matt will soon be a Lieutenant in a cushy spot and you can salvage what is left of your faltering image by doing us all a great service and retiring ASAP. We don't want, nor do we need anymore of your micromanagent, political appointments, reapportioned manpower, babyface bosses with no experience, bending down to the politicians and "inner cabinent" warfare at 35th St. But, no you wont retire!

This is nothing new there was a Sgt EV in 20/24 who was a bonafide nut, actually had to be disarmed at rollcall per the Captain and taken to Reed where they kept him. He even broke a copper's jaw in a racial incident and nothing ever happened to him, came back like nothing happened.

HI Police! I have a question. Are there any rules or restrictions as to how many or what kind of tattooes an officer can display on his/her body that are visible to the public when in the uniform of the day.
Narcotics was chasing someone they were tailing in their unmarked covert vehicles in 009 the other day. the zone was quiet and all you heard was "terminate the chase on 39th" No one knew what was going on. minutes later a 009 P.O. sees them chasing him on foot and calls for an assist. as we go to assist all the other unmarked covert narcotics cars are catching up driving like madmen, through red lights, through on coming traffic, cutting off marked squads and refusing to stop when they were "accidently" getting pulled over for driving like nuts. At least ten covert cars, no lights, no sirens, no one displaying a badge driving like crazy. Real safe guys. P.S. the chase was ordered terminated on 39th. the offenders car crashed on 47th and marshfield. one in custody
