Da Bears - Monday Night
We shall be enjoying the game tonight. Probably not much in the way of updates until after the game concludes. This is the Bears first Monday Night game in 3 years and should prove to be a ratings bonanza (Channel 2 coverage here). The national hype could get much larger if the Bears defense makes hash of Arizona's porous offensive line and low rushing numbers.UPDATE: Look like Arizona has done it's homework. The Bears are getting their asses handed to them

Bears party tonight. Everyone invited except FRANKLIN.
The Bears are doing great but for whatever reason they don't seem to do well on Monday Night Football. Even the 85 Bears lost on Monday Night. Hope this season is different.
OFF TOPIC:
The Democrats on the Hill today are calling for the resignation of the President, Vice President and the Director of FEMA. Sen. Clinton and the Dems are claiming the the Bush administration knew about the earth quake in Hawaii two years ago and did nothing to stop it.
The Dems claim this is a wide government cover up and are demanding that all top secret documents from the white house for the last 6 years be declassified and released to the press.
Clinton claims that even after 20 minutes from the time the quake occurred, FEMA was no where to be found in Hawaii. Sen. Clinton demanding her husband Ex-Pesident Clinton be named as the new head of FEMA.
On a positive note; local news on the big island report the citizens of the island were seen helping each other and their nieghbors clear roads drive ways and helping each other secure their residences.
NO LOOTING HAS BEEN REPORTED, GO FIGURE!!!

When I get my Blackberry, if I lose it in a foot chase, Does that mean I have to buy a new one or is it covered by my home owners insurance? Good idea in theory, but I'm not paying 300.00 to replace this thing when it gets fucked up or lost while in the performance of duty.

anyone hear about the meeting at 35th street today? Commander says 12 TRRs in a year or 20 CRs.. you will be put into a program. Also, its cause to kick you off the tac team, SOS etc. It doesn't matter if the CRs are exonerated or not sustained.
Sox suck. Talk about a collapse with a stacked team. Anywhoo-- I did something I PRAY I dont regret- Took the Cardinals +13.5 and the under 39. This way-- if Im wrong-- Ill still be happy with a bears victory! But the Bears scare the crap out of me on MNF and I hate not taking a home dog on monday night! Go bears!

SOX/cubs: The cubs still outdrew the Sox at Wrigley but the TV figures were printed in the Trib. today. Guess what? The Sox TV audience passed the cubs this year. Your ship is sinking. Come on over to a real baseball team on the south side while there is still time.
The pathetic apoligists for the cubs always say, " we have better attendance than the sox" Now even thats changing. The sox drew just under 3 million this year.

Its 20 CRs in a 5 year period or 12 TRRs in a year.. either way you have to be nuts to do any real police work anymore. Just show up and collect your check on the 1st and the 16th. I'm glad I have less than 2 years to go.
