Get the Protest Signs Ready!

Once again, a completely unjustified shooting of a poor defenseless animal:
  • A Calumet District police officer shot and killed a pit bull attacking a woman on the far South Side Monday evening. The woman, 49, of the 100 block of East 118th Place, was walking down the 11800 block of South Michigan Avenue around 6 p.m. when she passed a man and his pit bull, according to Calumet District Lt. Tim Bickham.
  • The owner was unable to control the dog and officers already in the area tried to force to the dog to release the woman's arm, Bickham said. The dog did not release the arm so an officer discharged one shot, killing the dog on the scene, Bickham said. The pit bull was not on a leash, said Bickham, who added the officer may have saved the woman's life.
We've heard a certain reassigned District sergeant is readying protest signs for use by interested reverends and activists. Because everyone knows the dog didn't really mean to tear that woman's arm off. He was just a misunderstood victim of society.

A highlight from tomorrow's Times:

The Mayor has hired a national firm to conduct the search to select a dog as the Director of OPS, the new K9 Division...

“If people have the perception that OPS is not fair, open and honest with them, then basically you lose the fight for crimes against ugly, mean dogs,” he said."

The panel will be headed by former comedian, Westcide dog, as he is currently debating running for Mayor. It also includes reknown famous actor, Benji.

If a sworn member (sgt) is doing what it is alleged that he is doing in this thread and the circumstances are as describe, than that sworn member is guilty of treason.
He is in violation of the Rule prohibiting the public criticism of fellow employees

If i were in 005 he'd be taking the bus to work since his tires would never have air in them

Ruff,ruff.....now that I got your attention, it's about time to really enforce these dogs that have no licensed tags on their collars from the City of Chicago. Make the fines $5000.00 and up. Too many times, these dogs shot by CPD have no tags by the owner. No rabie shots, no nothing. Usually these vicious dogs are owned by the gangbangers and drug dealers.

One reason I ALWAYS carry my gun even in retirement is in case Im attacked by a 4 legged dog

Pits and Rots are everywhere.
Many are owned by assholes

I love dogs but Im not too crazy about some of their owners

Tho Ive never had to shoot a dog, I came close a few times

Ive also shown my snub to a few individuals which gave them a chance to save their own lives

Ive written here before suggesting that the new officers invest the $350-$400 and purchase a Smith 5 shot snubbie Centennial Model

And a box or two of ammo

Pop a few caps, clean it and Carry it

I use the old 158 +P but they now authorize a few jacketed ones that may be better

You will be more likely to carry it than the boat anchors you now carry

For some reason Ive noticed that the newer officers tend only to own one handgun and its the 15 shot 9mm

Please boys and girls get a snubbie and CARRY IT off duty and maybe if properly concealed as an on-duty back-up

I cant emphasise just how important off duty carry is

It has a calming effect on me knowing its there

It helped me get to the pension bd in one piece

The man once again is keeping down the canine-American.

Was the dog wearing a graduation gown and cap when he got shot?

If you're implying Browstein may be the protester, keep in mind that he has killed more dogs than any other copper on the job. 99% of the dogs he "saved" got a shot of the blue killing juice, whether they needed it or not.

The dog owner should have been shot! He's to blame for training the dog to attack. And what will our justice system do with him? Probably a slap on the hand , pay a minimal fine , and be advised , "Sir, please be more careful with your next KILLER dog. Oh, and don't forget to pay the city for a dog license!

They've been disavowed by us and every other sane voice on the right. They are no more representative of the right than Hillary ... wait, Pelosi ...no wait, Kerry ... no, no wait a minute.

Well hell, we guess your psychos are embraced by the party structure at large and given positions of policy making. Try again.

As long as we are speaking about carrying your piece off duty, here's a lttle story that should make you think twice about not carrying it. There was a gang related shooting the other day in 025. As luck would have it, there was an off duty copper standing about 10 feet away from where it happened when it happened. As fate would have it however, the copper was not carrying a gun so he could not take swift and decisive action ala Rick Plotke. He did the next best thing however. He called 911 and told them what he was a witness to what happened as he followed the offender around on foot all the while telling OEMC where he was and what he was doing. Good move as it allowed him to comply with the General Orders. Only problem was that OEMC held the job for about 30 minutes while this poor guy was wandering around keeping tabs on the offender. Moral of the story is that you should always carry "roscoe" no matter where you are or what your doing. Had this Officer been doing that, instead of one gangbanger DOA, we could have gotten the double whammy and had two POS's DOA. Better luck next time.

Hey M! Where is your outrage at the right wingers who protest at funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq? Perhaps you have lashed out at them (I forget) yet you constantly take shots at the left, but ignore the shortcomings of your own ilk.

Uh. Yeah. No.

The WBC is so far from the mainstream (all 20 of them) that they can't really be linked to the rest of the right wing, save for in the minds of the Clueless Left whom, at this very moment, are so busy masturbating to Foley Gate, bloated Iraq 'civilian' casualty numbers, and Bill Maher that they're forgetting to win elections.

Try again, sparky!

I shot a dog one time. It was thankgiving day. A cold and wet dog was in the neighborhood and the kids tried to put a blanket over it. Dog got defensive and bit a kid. THe dad trapped the dog in the backyard. I arrived tried to corner the dog and was snapped at. Being bitten several time I took out the old .38 and with me in front of the yard and the dog in the back I took aim and fired. One shot, one kill. Too bad I had to but it was a damn good shot.

Hey lefty,
These funeral protesters are just wackos, like you. They can twist the truth, just like you. They try to make it seem reasonable, just like you.

The problem with you and your kind, the wackos, is you nitwits had B.J.Clinton in office for eight years, he fucked-up royally and you assholes liked it. Now you have no one butt your Barney Franks, the Democratic butt-boy, Teddie Kennedy, the drunken lady killer, also aiding and abeting his nephews in rape. Harry Reid, the scam artist who just stole $1 Mil. and I could go on and on but I will finish with "NOW YOU HAVE FOLEY" KEEP HIM AND ENJOY HIM.
