Targeted Response Unit. Like SOS junior. Maurer's baby before he retired and all they do is "quality of life issues" in hotspots.
Shooting in 009? Everyone on the corners goes to jail for a few days. Gang war in 015? Contact cards galore along with curfew, traffic impounds and zero tolerance on everything else.
Outside of the usual bullshit whining on the sight does anyone know the facts of said shooting? As in where did it occur and what time. who cares who was involved? TRU or not. Its "us" angainst "them" the us vs. us vs. them is boring.

TRU must be full of a bunch of people who worry about what is said about them.(Meaning-- INSECURE) Ive never seen people try to defend themselves like TRU.... "I've got 5 yrs on. The guy has 10yrs on. See we are not 1 yr wonders." I just think they are a little insecure, either in their jobs or their unit. That is why they defend themselves so vehemently. Why would you care what people think of your unit, how you handle an incident or even about you? Everyone is a Monday morning quarterback, EVERYONE!!!!
So you should really care less about what someone says about you or about an incident involving you. The most important thing is you are still around to go home to your family.
The one thing I have learned is.... A true GOOD cop/real police doesn't brag or tell stories about himself. The people he worked with will tell those stories. You know kinda like..... "Do you know so and so? He is one a good copper. He has done this or that"......
A real punk officer.. tells his own stories. "Do you know what I did? I've done this & that. I've worked here. I'm the REAL police"
