Karl Rove - Genius?

But is it enough to shift enough momentum to keeping at least one of the houses of Congress in Republican hands? From Channel 2:
  • Then [John Kerry] said: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
And from the Tribune:
  • Did John Kerry (D-Mass.) help himself in his Seattle news conference this afternoon to explain his astonishing remarks yesterday which sounded like an elitist shot at the intelligence of members of the U.S. military serving in Iraq? Short answer: no.
  • John Green, a political scientist and director of the Ray C. Bliss Institute at the University of Akron, has a good summation of the dynamic on this between the two adversaries. "Sen. Kerry has a history of saying unfortunate things and then not being able to explain them, because they are inexplicable,'' Green said.
Way to insult all who have served, are serving or will serve in the US military! It reveals and institutional dislike and disdain for the troops that is prevalent in most democrats. We wonder who truly has the learning disability here. Kerry is making a hell of a case for his being a moron and all Karl Rove had to do was let the dems keep talking.

What an asshole: Kerry managed to step on his dick AGAIN. he insulted every single soldier, marine, sailor, amd Air Force guy who has served in Iraq. No he's trying to weasel out of what he said. He's toast as far as ever being Pres. That is if his nasty ass wife will finance another campaign for him.

Lefty, don't make us slap you with facts again. The "Bush lied" mantra has been proven to be BS over and over again. MoveOn already. Bush can't be re-elected - stop running against him.

I wonder what Tammy Duckworth has to say about John Kerry's comments regarding the intellegence level of our troops that serve in Iraq. This is typical of the attitude of most of the Democratic party leadership regarding our service men and women.

Karl Rove IS a genius. By having the media focus on Kerry putting his foot in his mouth he takes the spotlight off Bush's failed Iraq policy. Way to spin!

Election Day is in less than a week and we have a lot at stake.

Do we want continued Democratic sponsered corruption? Do we desire higher taxes? Do we want Judges that are beholding to their political party rather than the "Rule of Law"?

I for one intend on voting to oust Judge Coleen Sheehan and I intend on voting for Topinka and Peraica because I believe that the Democratic Party in Illinois no longer looks out for middle class but instead looks out for their children and friends. We did not elect the parents with the idea that they are entitled to pass the position on to their children!!

If you are disgusted as I am with the political process then we must vote and encourage our friends and relations to vote.

Remember the politicians consider meritorious promotions as a process to reward their friends, relatives and contributors.

Although I'm not a Democrat I must agree that the war in Iraq gas gone south. The best solution should have been to totaly squash the enemy with as much troop support as possible and get out. Unfortunately this is war and that kind of stuff only happens in the movies. I personaly dislike Pres. Bush becuase he should have had more support for the fighting force and not relly on the idiots that have been living there for thousands of years. I say let those animals eat each other and bring home the troops. The shit has not been any diffent in thousands off years, why try to fix it now. As for the idiot John Carry, what a piece of shit. He is still being a sore looser after the election and now he is once again insulting the troops. They are there to do a job that no one else dares to do, or have the balls to do so. It must be nice for him and the rest of the politicians who dont have family members serving, to monday quarterback every scenerio. I have never served in the military, but I do have respect for those who do. I've had plenty of friends who have served in recent wars, and none of them where those who just could not go to college, like John Kerry stated. That fucking idiots needs to get his facts strait. Go back home to France.............

Lefty I see you have joined the rest of the 8th graders...oh, I mean Democrats...with the usual "We refuse to talk about truth because we claim the moral high ground." I am refering, of course, to your statement that Kerry served, and is therefore exempt from any being called on any bullshit that comes out of his mouth. As for the class warfare-not only are you wrong, but your premise is. Most good hearted people see serving as an HONOR. Apparently Kerry and YOU disagree.

Lefty, did you serve in the military? I doubt it. I did for three years and never met even one liberal. They all had someplace better to be I suppose.

Did you ever wonder why it is that across the United States it is ALWAYS the Dem. party that opposes voter photo IDs.?

Guess what, you can't vote in Mexico without one!

Photo IDs really make it difficult to vote illegally and that is precisely the reason the Dems. oppose it.

Strange that their pet lawyers, the ACLU, dont seem concerned.

As much as I dislike Kerry, from what I've read, it does appear that it was intended as a (not so good) joke intended to imply that the president was not so bright for getting "stuck in Iraq", not the troops.

Regardless of it's intent, what he said was offensive and stupid. I (like many sane people) think he should apoligize, and I don't see why he's handling this so badly and hasn't done so yet.

Always great to see John "Three and Out" Kerry fall through the thin ice he so firmly stands on.
This guy doesn't need a dunk tank;
he dunks himself every 3 or 4 pitches that he throws. Maybe Kerry & Howard Dean can run together on a 3rd party Vaudeville ticket. I like how SCC points out that Bush can't run again, but the Dumbocrats waste all their ammo on him anyhow. The Dumbocrats are so desperate for an intelligent looking candidate, who doesn't repeatedly get his prick caught in the door that they reach all the way down to the inexperienced Barak Obama and try to promote him as Presidential material. Yeah, right! "Let's not wait for him to actually accomplish anything, cuz he might fuck it up, so let's push him forward now, while he's got a good section of the voting public fooled."
For anyone intelligent enough to remember: That's how we ended up with Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

"At least Kerry served in the military. SCC, Rove, and about 99.9 per cent of the bloggers here have not served. YOUR president lied about his military service and the other great conservative Ronald Reagan didn't serve either. Unless you count those training films he made during WW II while banging women in Hollywood. Yea, great role model."

Whine, whine, whine. Typical naieve liberal. When the left shows its true colors they got notin' but...

"Well, the other guy is worse!"

Right about the classism though. The rich, in the ivory towers, get richer. The poor, in the ghetto, get cradle to grave handouts. Us working class, in the trenches, get t in the rear end.

Kerry is another millionaire, it doesn't matter.

And how much of that money has Kerry sucked dry from late Senator John Heinz?

I had a hard time believing Teresa would change parties, but to cross over to the dark side and pour millions into campaign funds that was part of the Heinz fortune for that liberal POS Kerry pisses me off.

Memo:

My US Army MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) was 72B10. For your information asshole that is a Communications Center Specialist. From July of 1965 through April of 1966 I served along the front lines in many and varied combat zones in Vietnam. I have two purple hearts and a Bronze Star to my credit. Pardon the take off on a popular commercial "buts what's in your file asshole", in what way have you contributed the good of mankind. The way the left venerates John Kerry is disgusting. He did no more than thousands upon thousands of other young men placed in the same circumstance. We just did our duty and kept our mouths shut. We didn’t proffer false claims about how our troops burned villages, killed innocent women and children like Kerry the Coward. He exaggerated the little boo boo on his pinkie and came home to look for a rich wife so he could contine his country club life he had before his “service.” The real heroes were the Swift Boat crew who had to work for the jerk. We came home after our service to start our lives again and were met by morons like you. For all the pride I take in my service I take greater pride in the left cross I delivered to an asshole like you, probably your father, at O'Hare when I got off the plane from Atlanta upon my discharged. He had the nerve to call me a baby killer, I continued to walk away and he followed and grabbed my duffle bag and offered his comments again. That's when I removed two teeth from his mouth. Right then and there I knew I wanted to be a Chicago Copper. Why you ask, because an Officer by the name of Cappetto who witnessed the event asked me if I was all right and put the cuffs on that moron and housed his sorry ass – (I found out later he was a decorated Korean War Vet). I was appointed to the Department in June of 1967 and served proudly for 34 years before taking my pension. I even got to bust a few of your relatives in Lincoln Park the next year. I have a photo of myself slapping the cuffs on David Dellinger of Chicago Seven Fame (front page Chicago Tribune) – oh what a great memory.

So to you leftie, and all your kind, before you bash those of us who contributed to the betterment of society get some credentials and currency behind your blabber.

God Bless America

God Bless Our Service Men and Women

God Bless the Chicago Police
Department,

And last, but certainly not least, God Bless the Greatest President this country has ever seen- the Honorable George W. Bush

It's great! Kerry can't even hold a position for ONE DAY! First it's "I won't apologize!" Then it's "I apologize." Just like all his other shift-with-the-prevailing-wind statements. From now on, I will call him "John, The Windsock, Kerry".

At least he tried to do something! You can't fault him if they DQ'd him for their medical reasons. So, did you serve??? From Wikipedia:

"Reagan was commissioned as a reserve officer in the Army in 1935. In November 1941, Reagan was called up but disqualified for combat duty because of his astigmatism. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Lieutenant Reagan was activated and assigned to the First Motion Picture Unit in the United States Army Air Forces, which made training and education films, where his acting experience could be put to work."

Why is it the left will criticize everything and everybody, but when its flipped on them, they become hostile and launch personal attacks. Fine, you believe the actions in Iraq are failing, then provide a viable alternative. Then
they say you can't criticize Kerry if you weren't in the service. What would people say if we use that line here, you can't criticize us unless you were ever the police.
