So...

Is Miami always going to be the stumbling block to a perfect season? As far as the Bears are concerned, it'd seem that way. Everyone else is going to be looking at these films and seeing how well Miami executed everything. Grossman had nothing short all day long and that's where everyone else is going to be looking to kill the Bears.

The Bears were lucky to beat Arizona. Miami figured out how to beat them. The next five weeks are critical. They have tough games in New York and New England. Minnesota will be looking for revenge and the week ater that is monday night on the road at St. Louis. We will soon see just how good they are. If they win three of the next five I will be happy.

Fuck Miami - Who cares about losing this game. Better to lose now and refocus energies in order to gear up for the playoffs.

OFF TOPIC
why is it at black churches on sats and suns, the congregation can park wherever they want (illegally) without fear of being ticketed. BUUUUUT, if a police officer in a personal car parks illegally at 35th st, court downtown, or at the academy, they're guaranteed a ticket? hmmmmm

Easily solved, just write them parkers instead of assuming you can't because they will beef and be taken care of. I do. And if they approach you to complain, explain to them about the special attention you have and that the powers that be don't believe your word when you say you were on a special attention and need proof to give them, such as B.S. contact cards and parkers. Fuck these people.

Grossman (for the most part) turned it over six times. He should have been yanked and replaced by Griese in the second half.

Da Bears have had an easy schedule and have been playing way over thier heads. This loss is the begining of the end. I just had to laugh when I heard all this talk about a Super Bowl appearance or listened to people make a comparision to this team and the 85 team. The Cardinal game should have been a clue.

The same fools that support the Bears and are dreaming of a spot in the Super Bowl are the same fools that support the Cubs and have been dreaming about a spot in the World Series for the last 100 years. You can see the same boorish behavior at both games. Each team will win a FEW games and all of a sudden all you will hear is talk about them going to the big one. Neither team is going anywhere except to the bottom of thier respective divisions.

It could be worse, they could be my team and go from Superbowl champs to football playing chimps. *sigh*

All this hype about the Super Bowl is premature. let them win the division and a playoff game first. The Bears have one of the softest schedules in the leauge. their strongest opponents are in front of them. Not to mention the Vikings,Packers, and Lions are playing better football in the second half of the season.

The Bears aren't smart enough to know when to sit a player down, whem he is completely screwing up out there. Rattle Grossman's cage good & hard early in a game and he is done for the day. Absolutely no
recovery. When he's good, great; but when he's off, he's the worst in the NFL. Poor play plus inept coaching = losing season. Wake up!

Off topic, but just curious, how can you compare people parking their cars to WORSHIP with parking near the Academy? Some of you on this website really need to examine your true feelings. First, you refer to blacks repeatedly as "animals," beasts," "duke," and other codewords for what you'd REALLY like to say, and that's when some of you aren't just coming out and using the N word. But when these same people which some of you blast repeatedly based solely on race, gather to pray and worship in peace, some of you try to make that an issue also.
What do you care about a bunch of people gathering one day a week to PRAY? Are there no serious concerns on your beat, district or area of patrol to better direct your investigative training? JEEZ!
If you don't want to get a ticket at the Academy, then don't drive over there! Lots of free public trans to get you there every day.

Ive been saying for months now the Bears arent as good as everyone says they are, and "they" think they are. The other teams they are playing are getting tired of all the media crap and are fired up to kick some Bear ass.

Whats the difference between this team and the '85 team? In '85 noone doubted how good they were and everyone knew they were good. This year? Not even close! They have some glorified medical abuser/malingerer strutting around like Hes Brett Farve. Well guess what? Grossman is no Farve.

Sure they are good enough to win the division. But the Little Sisters of the Poor could win that division. But they are not going to the Super Bowl and even if they did they would not win it.

They are going to lose 2 or 3 of the next 3 games, just watch. Hell if it wasnt for luck they would be 5-3 right now heading for 8-8 or 9-7.

Bring back Alan Keyes, He was the most talented quarterback the Bears had, no wait, wasn't he a running back? No, I remember him as an important figure. Wasn't it the Bears? No? Jeez, Chicago sports can be confusing, especially when it's politics.
