RIP Peter Boyle

The role of Frankenstein's monster made this man's career as far as we're concerned. If we ever made a list of actor's we think it would be a pleasure to know and to converse with, Peter Boyle would be near the top of a very short list. He really did seem like a normal everyday kind of guy to us.

He'll always be Frank Barone from "Raymond" in my book. I'm sure he reminded alot of us of the tough, old, salty guys we grew up with.
R.I.P. Peter Boyle

Peter Boyle was a good actor, but politically he was far left of center.

Peter Boyle was an absolute left winger who stood along side Leonard Bernstein (my favorite fruit)and others at benefits to pay legal costs for the Black Panthers while they continued to murder policemen. A mediocre actor, at best. I remember his potrayal of a Pennsylvania State Police detective in a television adaptation of Joe Wambaugh's, "Echo's in the Darkness", a true account of the infamous "Mainline Murders". Again, mediocre.

Hey, has God also played his hand in national politics? Did Democratic Senator Tim Johnson flatline yet? Hoping he does. Let's take back the senate. Adios.

Great Guy!!! One day back around 1980 or so we ran into him at Blackies on Grand Ave. He came up to us to say hello and asked for directions to Hyde Park. When we asked for the bill the waitress told us the bald headed guy picked it up. I know 4 coppers had a great experience that day.

Peter Boyle and all the other actors on Everyone loves Rasymond were annoying. It has to be one of the worst shows ever. If I had a relative like Peter Boyle I would avoid him at all costs.

my partner , some years back while working on a movie set -was sitting down and having lunch with a couple of lesser known actors when mister Boyle came into the room, they motioned him over to sit as well,at which time he replied something like "no thanks i don't like police"at which time the other two actors removed themselves the the table and sat with Boyle at another table- while i agree it does not sound like the charater from everybody loves raymond- I think his actions at the movie set are more in step with the kind of charater he was. Later Peter is all I gotta say.
