Technical Difficulties
We had a complaint that the links section got bumped down out of sight recently. This is a programming glitch in Microsoft Internet Explorer. When we put the Bear/Vikings stat table in the football post, the margins bump out farther and kick everything down. As we post more threads, the table will push past the links margin and everything will appear back where it belongs. In the meantime we're going to try to re-size it.
We recommend switching to a real internet platform like Firefox. Internet Explorer blows chunks and it's unfortunate that the Department computers all have it. But as we don't use Department computers for anything except working, we don't see when the site gets goofy.

I know in area 1 the detectives use the computers for poker and shit like that, but most of those condesending pricks do not use them for much else.

Until you have written a 20+ type written page closing supplementary report, you have no idea what dicks do on the computers. Dicks write EVERY supplementary report on the computer, run EVERY name over the computer, generate Investigative Alerts from the Computers, Submit Evidence Processing from Computers, search for Contact Cards from the computer,computers, computers, computers,etc. etc....Do you even know what dicks do or do you just learn about it from watching TV?
If you have never touched the computers, come to the D and you are bound to be lost. Not to be "Condescending" but just telling you like it is super sleuth!
Hey, this is like a page out of County Government. There is a guy in the Training Academy that was assigned there as a instructor, he retired with a full pension and came back to the same position as a civilian. So now he is collecting a pension and also drawing a police salary. Why is this guy getting the special treament?? Couldnt a active p.o. be assigned to this position and get a chance at this nice gig? wouldnt this save tax payers money? I guess he must be related or connected to Cronin since the same deal is in the works fo him. J. Manilla who is you juice because I want some of that Kool-aid? The city that works... what a joke.

I understand that this new Capt. was an inspector and may not be what we are looking for in the 9th district..
