And They Still Won?

These are NOT the types of stats you want to see from a playoff bound team. Some people will say it doesn't matter how you got there. But once you get there, you have to prove you belong there because everyone is stepping it up a few notches. (table from ESPN.com)

It was a brutal game for the Bears offense. i hate to say it but Grossman will not lead them to the SuperBowl. What is with the bad play calling the past few weeks?
Start Griese, he is a veteran...

Unless Grossman steps it up considerably, the Bears will be one and out in the playoffs.

Grossman will take them to the play offs, in any way possible. Griese will find a way to get the Superbowl championship.

Griese is NOT the answer-- being the monday morning coach-- its easy to say thats the way to go, but I can pretty much guarantee that Lovie and crew see more then we do-- i.e. practices- and would in no way jepordize games because they THINK Grossman is good enough. We as Bears fans have been SO easy to please by just throwing in another quarterback when the times get tough. Think back to all the names you remember as the next "savior"-- Mirer, McKnown, Orton, Harbaugh. The list doesnt end! As the record shows-- if you WIN- its a win. Think about the Baltimore Ravens winning a Super Bowl with a VERY shaky, almost non-existenet offense. Defense CAN win games- and playoff games too. Yes, Rex has to step up and has shown that he HAS the ability to do so, and it will make it all the easier if he does. But trying a new QB in week 13 is a very bad idea.

Great Greta Garbor's Ghost!!!!
Seeing those stats, knowing them, but actually seeing them is scary. Those Bears better watch out. The playoffs are so much harder played than the regular season. No 1 and done Bears.

Lovie Smith is OUT!
Abe Gibron is [back] IN!

Brian Urlacher is OUT!
Dick Butkis is [back] IN
(YOU tell Butkis he's too old, not me!)

The Halas family has just reduced the Bears ticket prices.
Yeah sure, right AFTER Gibron and Butkis come back!
