What's up with Old People?

We were writing about a senior citizen farmer chasing down a gasoline thief last month. Now we have a 70+ year old Korean War vet strangling an armed mugger in Costa Rica:
  • An American tourist who watched as a U.S. military veteran in his 70s used his bare hands to kill an armed assailant in Costa Rica said she thought the attempted robbery was a joke - until the masked attacker held a gun to her head.
  • Suddenly, one of the tourists, a U.S. military veteran trained in self defense, jumped out of the van and put the gunman in a headlock, according to Limon police chief Luis Hernandez.

Hernandez said the American, whom he refused to identify, struggled with the robber, breaking his collarbone and eventually killing him. Police identified the dead man as Warner Segura, 20. The other two assailants fled.

Score one more for the old folks.

Good for the old timer. Don't fuck with a crazy war vet. 70 years old or not, he can still whoop some ass.

Good thing it happened in the 3rd world where the Police can say"self defence, be on your way"..
If it would have happened here, there would be civil rights crap, a huge crime scene investigation, and the whore media doing their whore crap w/the bad guys family. CR sounds like a great place!!!

This is because men of prior generations are tougher than the men of now. Todays soldiers cry about their 6 lbs. rifles. Men of old carried 9.5 lbs. rifles and wore wool uniforms. YOU MEN OF NOW ARE JUST FAT FOOD BLISTERS!

That’s exactly why I hold America’s servicemen and women in such high regard. DUTY, HONOUR, BRAVERY, DIGNITY. These are the qualities our servicemen carry.

A quote from Marine commanding General J.N. Mattis, “When I give the word, together we will cross the line of departure, close with those forces that choose to fight, and destroy them. Our fight is not with the Iraqi people, nor is it with members of the Iraqi army who choose to surrender. While we will move swiftly and aggressively against those who resist, we will treat the others with decency, demonstrating chivalry and soldierly compassion for people who have endured a lifetime under Saddam’s oppression.” “Demonstrate to the world there is no better friend, no worst enemy then a U.S, Marine”.

Although I have never been in the service, let me take this opportunity to thank all our service people for their service to our country.

As an old folk (and former military) I say, HOO-RAY FOR OUR SIDE!!!

But I'm waiting for the legal "other shoe" to drop. It's probably a good thing it happened in Costa Rica and not here. Maybe their law doesn't have such a special fondness for scumbags.

God bless him and I'd like to say thank you for once again serving your fellow man with dignity, stength, self sacrifice and without regard for your own safety. This guy should be hired to conduct a seminar for all CPD. Better yet make him Superintendant!!!

Any truth to the rumor that the Korean War vet is Seiser's father? Everyone knows that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Seiser and his father run it.

Don't F*#K with those old people. They are some tough old coots who survived the Depression, WW2, and lots of other things. Hopefully they will keep looking at things at their age as that they don't have much to lose, and continue to F#@K UP more criminals. I know when I get to be a geezer myself I plan to do my best to commit mayhem on any young whipper-snapper criminal that tries to F%*K with me. Hopefully I can put some of them in the graveyard before they lock me up in the Alzeimers Ward, or plant me for the dirt nap. Make My Fuckin Day, you young candy-ass punks. Back to the Sanitarium now.......

To the moron who referred to our troops as being 3rd rate.

A. Clearly your never served in the military. People like you never do. A little yellow perhaps?

B. We have absolutely the best military services on the face of the earth.

C. If the leadership of a country doesn't have the backbone to use them properly it is not the soldier's fault. it is the polititian's.

D. There is still time, why don't you enlist and bring the Army up to your standards. Not gonna happen, right? Figures.
