NYPD Indictments
Hop over to the Rant - located here and in our right hand links area. They have half a dozen threads going on covering the recent indictment of NYPD officers for shooting at a car that was trying to run them down (here's the Sun Times link).
They also have a few threads on the recent killings of their "auxiliary" police officers. We really have to question the wisdom of an entire "auxiliary" police force who's only purpose is to save money on training fully equipped and armed police officers.
Human beings aren't cheap - and police protection shouldn't be either. If you've seen the video, the one unarmed officer was executed in the most brutal fashion imaginable with not even a sliver of a chance to defend himself, aside from not even going to the job - which kind of defeats the purpose of even having a police department.
Pray for their families.

While I certainly hope this doesn't happen, for those intent on playing the racial hatred game, two of the NYPD cops charged with felonies are black.
This doesn't appear to be a racial incident. Methinks Al Sharpton has it in for cops period - despite the race of the cops. This incident bears witness.

Now that the DA's Office has gotten its indictment, the DA can say he did everytthing he could. A political move that unfortunately puts these officers' futures in the hands of a jury. The media and politicians are cowards.
Rumor has it same thing is going to happen here by the fall to mark the anniversary of a similar incident that happened here in Chi-Town. Let the bad guys go, stay safe & go home to your families. It’s just not worth it.
this is fuckn sad. the police and the ASA's are willing to hang a cop just to keep the fuckn animals from rioting. i propose that if a cop is indicted just to appease the black community and when he's exonerated or found not guilty then the following must occur......the state shall reimburse the officer for bond, atty fees, and lost wages including ot. the officer immediately gets his job back and not have to wait for iad or the sup to let it sit on their desks for 2 yrs. wake up people the days of doing real police work is over

This is just icing on the cake of bulls--t. If they get convicted, we are all screwed. The dumbass channel 7 (NY) hyenas, I mean reporters, put a blurb in that clip where some ass says they shouldn't have shot til someone shot at them. HELLO you stupid mf-er!! Everyone seems to forget the fact over 30 rounds were fired @ a fleeing vehicle and no weapon was recovered. These overzealous coppers screwed the pooch and that's why they were indicted. You want a instance where coppers got screwed over, Try send $20.00 to the Defense fund For the Border Patrol Agents who are currently serving time for doing their job.
The troops in Iraq follow U.N. directives which state you can only fire when fired upon.
if a city must have an auxiliary unit, then why not allow them to carry weapons??? you put on a uniform that says your the police but all they let you carry is a wooden stick?!?!?!? now thats some bullshit!

For anyone who isn't aware of this crime, look it up on the Internet. Absolutely unbelievable that the pussy media in this country is burying this story because of PC (black offenders, white victims).
Sure is something that we havn't heard anything about the brutal murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsome. You know that if the situation was reversed, and the victims were black and the offenders white, it would be all over the national news. And all you liberal apoligists, don't tell me that this wasn't a hate crime.

3 quick things
1. there were several shell casings found in the back seat of the car that did not come from the guns of the officers
2.they officer that was hit by the car was hit twice with the car
3.the officer that was in the "gentleman's club" was right next to one of the POS when he heard him say i'm going to get my gun.
also if you're getting married in a few hours why are you out till 4am in a "club"that has been nothing but trouble in the hood for gun sales,drug sale,prostitution
don't get me started on the records of these poor innocent victims .

I did look this up. Those fucking pos savages! It will make you sick to read all that they did to them. I, being of sound mind, and a law-abiding Christian,would gladly throw the match on them after THEY had suffered the same unspeakable horrors. Their families must be devistated. Just devistated. The three defendants pleaded innocent in a packed courtroom that included Bell's fiancee, his mother and the two surviving victims.
Two detectives -- a white and a Hispanic -- face up to 25 years in prison if convicted of manslaughter. They were released on bail.
The third, who is black, faces one year if convicted of reckless endangerment. He was released on his own recognizance.
