- Chicago Police were investigating a gruesome fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old man found by his roommate Thursday afternoon in their Uptown apartment.
Johnathan Fields suffered dozens of stab wounds and his stomach was sliced open, a law enforcement source said.
No word on any major parts missing. The serial killer speculation seems a bit premature until someone figures out a link. The other two victims someone in the media is trying to tie together were gay. This guy had a girlfriend/fiance and from initial reports was a dope dealer. In any case, still kind of gross.

I also heard about the "other" slashings (3 I think)that have happened in the last few days. Yea, was watching the news last nite, and was waiting for the whore, politically correct newscaster to give me a description of the offender. This guy is walking up behind people and cutting their faces/throats on the northside. Any POs have more info?

I can't remember exactly what it said on the PDT when I pulled it up but it said something like that he's insides were...outside. Any truth to that?

I don't think the slasher is the same guy who murdered the uptown victim. This nut that's going around cutting people at random is in Edgewater, otherwise known as the 20th dist. He'll probably slash another 30 or so people before the police in 20 even get a clue...the policing up there is practically non-existant. If you're off duty in Edgewater/Ravenswood/Andersonville, make sure you carry a spair pair of cuffs and your weapon because it will probably take awhile before the P.O's come out of hiding to help you out. Is it something in the water or are the bosses driving them into seclusion up there?
First of all the guy wasn't gutted and second of all he wasn't gay so i fail to see a connection. Just more media bullshit trying to sell their garbage as legit "Investigative reporting". Assholes.

regarding the police in 20 and the edgewater slasher. they've got to be some of the worst i've ever seen. with a few exceptions, most of the bosses seem to be merit and their timidity and lack of knowledge filter down to the p.o.'s creating an environment where no one takes risks and the preference is to tolerate a fairly low level of crime rather than offend anyone with aggressive policing. agree with the previous post, if off-duty and encounter the offender, don't expect much from the district officers or bosses.

from the trash can.....gutted yes , no forcible entry, possibly drug related. What a coicidense that his roomates left overnight on a week day...what no school or work Hmmm. Door was left open or victim knew offender (s). In the dead of night none of those nosey neighbors heard anything, hmmmmm. Within an hour at least 15 people stopped and asked did someone get murdered? Where did they hear that from. HMMMMM.
I think that there were at least two offenders an not gay or drug related.
