The Runoffs
Channel 2 has a pretty good summary of each of the 12 runoff elections that are scheduled for 17 April. We personally are pulling for Tillman and Haithcock to get bumped off to join Natarus. And any other incumbent for that matter.
We're wondering how much the "big box" veto has to do with any of these runoffs - we're thinking very little. After all, all politics is local and most Chicagoans just don't give a rat's ass about "living wage ordinances." They care about property taxes and neighborhood development and getting the garbage picked up on time and the aldercreature being "accessible." And if this was really about the "big box ordinance," why didn't they target Daley who exercised his first ever veto in 20 years of ruling the city?
Maybe it was just scandal fatigue.

Let's hope the incumbants lose in the run offs everyone of them leeches!
Anyone notice that Daley only received 318,578 votes. That's less than 10% of the population. Not exactley a vote of confidence, if you ask me.
I voted for Fitzgerald, anyone else want to share?

I voted for Fitzgerald, and i live in the 19th Ward.
I was very upset with the fact that our ward had the most votes for Daley.
I could not find out anywhere how many votes Fitzgerald got written in, by each Ward, and total.
I was curious to find out if he had a good write in.
Does anybody know? Or do you know where to look it up?

The election in the 36th ward was fixed. Banks used his hacks to rig the results. Another 4 years of no service for anyone outside of Galewood......(only the construction of those condos for his cousin)
