As Predicted - A Lawsuit
Do we know the "cult of victimhood" or what? Channel 2 covers:
- The mother of a teen shot inside his high school classroom earlier this week claims the school district and city failed to provide adequate security and supervision at the school.
Michelle Lewis says her son, Jodale Woodfork, was shot in the leg Tuesday after Demond Gore got a gun past security at Chicago Vocational Career Academy High School.
Lewis claims the city of Chicago, Board of Education, Chicago Public Schools and Gore are negligent for the shooting. The lawsuit was filed Friday in Cook County Circuit Court.
At least the Department isn't on the hot seat for this one.

Gore is the only one responsible for this shooting but it's a sad truth that the parent of woodfork will probably get money out of it.Why is Gore the last listed as responsible?
c'mon, are you fuckin kidding me ??? sue the asshole who brought the gun in...or his or her parents...for not seeing that their misunderstood youth had a gun , for not noticing that there was a gun in their house for a few weeks. why is everyone in society responsible for the bad seed's fuck-ups ? don't bring a gun to school...and no one will be shot at school. my God...this society is fucked up.

The paper states that his "friend" accidentally shot him! My father used to say, "birds of a feather, flock together!" Where is his responsibility to tell the teacher that his "friend" has a gun? Maybe he was in on bringing it in to the school! I don't believe the schools , by law, have to provide metal detectors. Brother Rice, Mother McCauley, DeLasalle, Marist, etc., don't provide them!!!!
These damn schools are nothing but day care! They sure don't go to school for the education.
hey lady. file your lawsuit. go after the city of chicago, go after the school. maybe you'll stur the pot enough to bring attention to the topic: WE HAVE NO POLICE MANPOWER IN THIS CITY. It would be great to have say 3-4 on-duty CHICAGO POLICE OFFICERS assigned to every school. Inside the school, on the property, in the parking lot at the bus stop. Just think how nice and safe that would be. Now pinch yourself. We're lucky to have 1 or 2 coppers respond to a school incident after it happens. We're short a good 2,500 - 3,500 coppers that this city desperatly needs.
0 police presence on 432 and 433's beats. whats up with that. almost all of us pay "high" taxes, are employed, have familys and keep us our property's but no police to protect us, make arrests or deter crime. why is that? who's the alderman? who's the bosses in 004 that continue to ingnore this ever growing problem?
The thinning of the herd will begin with the young. I predict that in the next 20 years certain factions of the human race will be phased out because of their own stupidity. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but evolution cannot be denied.

I bet if some copper's kid was shot or injured under the same circumstances, that copper would be suing everybody in site.

Go to your kids school and if you see a policeman near the door or even worse a metal detector.....For the love of God, get your kid out of there, pay through the nose if you have to, but get him/her into a REAL school.

Under the same circumstances-- no. If the kid was innocently in class and took a stray bullet and wasnt one of the two passing the gun-- then yes. But if my kid had a gun and him and his friend shot one another-- then no asshat.
send your kids to this type of school what kind of an asshole can you be? get a job and pay to put your kid in a better school not the shithole chicago public system! the worst in the nation look at the supt arne "dunkin donut" says he was harvard educated where on harvard ave in chicago! he talks like an ass! has no ideas! that is why him and daley get along 2 morons together forver!!
