Hero Cops

Nice to see some good news finally. Good job guys:
  • A Chicago police sergeant and two officers, with the assistance of some passersby, pulled a man who had been in an auto accident out of the car he was trapped in, seconds before it was consumed by flames early Friday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
Coverage at the Sun Times and Channel 7.

funny cbs must have forgotten to air that story...

the cbs story is nothing short of a declaration of war against police. they are siding with convicted felons linked to the outfit. you sleep with a dog you get flees. boys and girls, don't forget IVC applies to their vans also.

And that ain't all
While you media jackasses languish over and over about Abbate, SOS, Doubek and others, you conveniently overlooked and minimized the excellent work performed by Chicago Police officers during this past week, most notably
The quick apprehension of a serial robbery offender by 006th District third watch beat 614. this idiot robbed a Wendy's on 95th at least 3 times, a burger king not too far from there, and is implicated in as many as seven armed robberies of restaurants . This excellent work was relegated to a one day one paragraph puff piece by most of the media.

Additionally, the 004th and the 006th district, through their cooperative efforts conducted an investigation into a double homicide of two juveniles, and the seual assault of a third juvenile. 006 shared this info with 004 who was able to locate and apprehend the offender.
To speak of nothing of the excellent work these two district officers do everday. But the idiot media does'nt see fit to harp on that-they think this kind of police work is an everyday expected occurrence.
Not.
You officers are appreciated and respected for the work you do, if not by the media, and city hall, but by the communities you protect.

Oh, and you ass holes reporters that call the district sucking up to the desk personnel and watch commanders for tips and scoops-get your punk asses out of your offices and try earning your keep the old fashioned way. Canvasses. investigations. interviews. evidence.corroboration. shit like that. We're not obligated to tell you shit-that's what Bonds, Camden, and media affairs is there for. It's called pounding the beat. try it sometimes. You lazy Bitches.

Officer Greco 003rd District if you want to know what actually happened and not what your friend (P.O. Franelli) told you give me a call and I'll tell you what happened. The truth about what happened and not what someone else told you, because they did not want to tell you or explain to you what type of P.O. he really is. And yes I will pay my own ticket. Oh yeah and by the way your Real Police friend felt that he did such a stand up job, to validate what he had done, he went into the station probably the same lie that he told to you told it to the watch commander and got a C.R. So if you feel the need to stand up for this type of police officer then so be it, but get your facts right first before you write something about real stand up Police Officers. And yes I told him that I was a police officer and asked him was he going to write a police officer a ticket and he stated and I quote, “I sure am” and if you want more details give me a call.

OK Greco,
This is the truth, officer Brumley was parked at a bus stop he had just let someone out to purchase a meal, for him. See as others have stated previously Cedric has a special equipped van that has a lift on it. There was nowhere for him to park except across the street and you should try crossing Western Av in a wheelchair that time of the day. Anyway, Cedric observed the police car ride up, so he immediately moved into the gas station at that location. Your top cop friend wrote two other vehicles there and even though probably hadn't written Cedric's ticket still did. Actually all he had to do if he had a problem with him there was ask him to move, like would just be a basic common courtesy to any citizen not just a cop. While Cedric was waiting for his nurse, to come out of the restaurant top cop Franelli came up to him with a ticket. Cedric at that time asked him did he run the plates and he responded, “Yes I did” and gave the particulars of the plate to Cedric. Cedric then stated to him "I'm a police officer are you going to write a police officer a ticket and he (Top Cop Franelli) stated, “I SURE AM” and attempted to hand the ticket to Cedric. Cedric in turn knocked the ticket out of his hand and stated that this is bullshit. Top Cop walked back to the car and said to his partner, “I think he's upset” and drove off. Now how to you think this makes Cedric feel. A highly decorated and I mean highly decorated officer, worked the streets as a tactical officer for almost his whole career. You Officer Greco and Officer Franalli couldn't hold a candle to the police worked that he's done, combined. Case in point, earlier in the day the day in which he was injured he received a District Meritorious Award for something that he had done. Now what you do Mr. Greco and Franalli especially you Mr. Greco ask your commander what type of real police officer that this guy was see he worked with him in 004? SO what you both should do is find someone that knows this guy and ask them what type of cop and what type of guy Cedric really was and still is. I promise you this when it comes to being the police; Cedric was and still is THE REAL POLICE. Or better yet go to the Run to Remember and meet him or even St Jude’s, he’ll be at all those events. See he volunteers his time to The Memorial and probably will never miss a St Jude’s as long as he’s still around. Probably like that other officer said Franelli he would have probably k----- you’re a—if he could have gotten to you. A CR I hear he should call the Sup and tell him about this but he’s not that type of guy and Mr. Greco and Franelli you two should pay for the ticket, for the real police work that Franelli performed. I am posting as anonymous as Cedric asked me not to say nothing but the truth is what I have written. I just can’t wait to see what this CR says; I’m sure another Franelli lie.

In 23 years on the job, with all of the dumb shit that I have seen and heard about the police, this is the worst. Unless they are complete assholes, you should not ever give a ticket to the family member of a copper. That being the case, how in the fuck could you give a copper a ticket, after knowing he is on the job, AND KNOWING THAT HE IS DUTY DISABLED? What the fuck are you thinking? Oh wait you weren't thinking. There are 9 million people to give tickets to. What could possibly be the justification to give one to a copper? You silly, stupid, sad, misdirected, uninformed, emotionless prick. The next time that you shave your silly face, remember that you are looking at an asshole of the highest order, and that this will follow you to the end of your career. You should be ashamed of yourself. Fuck head.

What has happened to our Police Department? And this is not about Cline, other bosses, silly missions, dumb looking uniforms, merit/not merit none of that shit. It is about how there is segment of this department who have absolutely no idea of the concept of loyalty. Granted this is an extreme example, and this Fanelli jerkoff might be the only guy who would write that ticket (except for this greco goof). But will someone please explain the program to these types? WE ONLY HAVE EACH OTHER! Wake the fuck up. Please.

OK, I was informed that this issue made the site so I figured I would check it out. If you would like the FACTS, plese continue reading.

The fact is that yes, my partner and I observed a civilian van in the bus stop at Harold's Chicken along with a couple of other cars like we do everyday. As we began writing them tickets the van (which had no police ID or medallions and had on it regular passenger IL plates) began to drive off. We wrote the plate down and finished the other tickets. We saw that same van pull into the gas station and figured we would go give the driver his/her ticket. We had no idea who it was...how would we. I approached the vehicle and said nothing. Also, I could not see that this person was in a wheel chair. I reached out to hand over the ticket and was "greeted" (if you call it that) with an extremely ignorant and rude "you're gonna give the police a ticket?" I then said "I didn't know you are the police. Do you have any ID?" (nothing on the van would signify him being the police)Again, very rude and obnoxious, he stated "you're gonna give the police a ticket?" At that point, with him not willing to show me any id or star and being very rude, I tried avoiding a controversy with a "possible officer" (as I still am not sure) with a "yes sir" I then extended my arm out to hand the ticket over, at which point it was slapped from my hands while saying "get that shit outta here!"

I proceded to get back in my car and explain to my partner when he then drove up next to us and asked if we ran the plate (which we didn't)and my name. I gave it to him and his comment was something to the effect of; wait til you see what's on you're CR. He then proceeded to drive off. My partner and I thought about the situation and figured, well, we still don't know who he is or anything about him, so we may as well do the right thing. We picked up the ticket and talked to our supervisers. The rest is history. As for our CR...it was strictly to cover our a$$ as he already stated we are getting a CR...and since you can't get a CR for being issued a ticket...who knows what it would be for.

I just wanted all of you to know the actual story. I have never been on this site before and probably never again. I have no problem giving police courtesy when it's politely asked for. But being ignorant and rude and refusing to show and ID or star and then slapping a ticket out of my hand, WHEN YOU ARE IN THE WRONG TO BEGIN WITH, doesn't warrant it. Most coppers would have locked him up...police or not. I have had many people tell me what a great guy he is and I believe that. Maybe I caught him on a bad day. I have no idea but those are the facts. Oh, and it was his son returning to his van, not a nurse.

Hey outsider? You're an asshole. No, you're bigger than an asshole. You're a fucking moron.

In each and every situation you name, the officers were arrested, disciplined, fired, or jailed. In the case of Tinley Park, the sentence was something like 14 years. The illegal holdups? Probably life plus 20. The illegal parking, someone is catching some suspension time and the missing drugs and money from evidence has led to a number of convictions numbering upwards of 20 years.

So much for anyone getting away with "everything" as you put it.

As for the disregarding traffic laws, if it's on duty in clearly marked emergency vehicles, there are quite a number of exceptions to Illinois traffic laws when responding to calls. "But they didn't have lights and sirens on!" will be your retort - but all lights and sirens do is serve to warn the bad guys we're coming. Heaven forbid we should ever sneak up on an actual criminal and catch them in the act.

So take your sanctimonious BS elsewhere jack. You're a dumb motherfucker and we can only hope you're too stupid to actually breed with another human and so perpetuate your ignorance upon the entire human race.

Franellli,
There you go with another lie. See you and I know what you said and you are not even man enough to tell the truth. You ran the plate and know whom the vehicle is registered to remember now you told someone that I think the next day after you wrote the ticket first lie, already contradicting yourself. You better hope he doesn’t come to this site because he will know that you're a liar. Second lie you never asked me for any ID or badge second lie. I ask you were you going to write another police officer a ticket, and you stated, "I sure am" like I said previously after at that time I slapped the ticket out of your hand. That’s the only truth about your whole statement. NO matter who, first of all Police or not if they’re in the vehicle common courtesy not just police courtesy would be for you to ask them to move. When I observed that you had still written a ticket after I moved that is the only time that I would have told anyone that I was the police and that’s what I did to you and it didn't matter. By the way guy my son is 10years old and I personally wouldn't let him go into Harold’s alone, see another lie. Dude you did what you did and you continue to lie about it so that’s cool, but just chalk it up as a lesson learned and extend someone else the courtesy that you did not extend to me and stop lying, no one wants a parking ticket if you had asked I would've gladly showed you my ID and whatever else you asked for, to not receive a ticket come on dude please stop lying. See I can already impeach your testimony by what you have said to someone else. Judge just kicked your case out of court, test the lie somewhere else. And no it was not I bad day, see if you don't know I almost lost the opportunity to be here in that accident in 2002 when another squad ran into mine and I have lost the opportunity that you take for granted, of being a police officer. See you don't understand the highest compliment that a officer can receive from another officer is being called the Real Police strive for that and get away from s--- like these damn parking tickets I've been called the REAL POLICE before and after my accident. And to the guy that claims he's a common citizen and comes to the site. See the courtesy that I asked for was the courtesy that I would hope that everyone gets. See I moved after observing the officer pull up. He hadn't written a ticket. So Joe Citizen as you claim to be if you’re in your vehicle, I believe that an officer should afford to you the opportunity to move your vehicle (which I did, before I was asked) by asking you to do so. I wasn't afforded the opportunity CITIZEN, COP or not.

TO P.O. Farnelli,

You said it yourself,

*** “We wrote the plate down and finished the other tickets. We saw that same van pull into the gas station and figured we would go give the driver his/her ticket.”***

When he pulled away that should have been the end of it! You should extend that courtesy to anyone, not just because he was copper. Did you need a FRIGGIN PARKER that bad? He showed you respect by moving his van out of the bus stop before you wrote the ticket, and you were so hard up for parkers you had to follow him across the street just to show how tuff you are and hand him a ticket? I would have been pissed too! What kind of JAGBALLS ARE YOU?

Then to have a nerve to get a CR on him! You didn’t have to do that no matter what the boss’s say. It was up to you to be a MAN and say “No boss I DON’T WANT to get a CR on him.” By the way, who was that “GREAT BOSS” that gave you that advice? I’m sure he will deny he gave you that advice because he’ll look like as big of a DICK as you are.

You can in no way justify your actions. Cedric is a class act, and I pray one day he will walk again, as many times he said he will and stand eye to eye to you and tell you what jerk you are.

So what if it was son that got into the van and not his nurse. I'm sure you made the kid feel really good. His dad getting a ticket from another copper. His dad who was paralyzed in a on duty accident trying to assist another officer in a 10-1 situation. Oh and by the way, I'm pretty sure that Cedric's kid is only about 10 years old if not younger. You made a good impression on him all right. To that kid and Cedrics friends Cedric is a HERO.

WRONG! But thanks for weighing in Mark. Going to disability hearings is effortless and not a particular help to POs on disability. Making some effort in Springfield would be a help. Preasuring the Mayor would be a help. The FOP does none of those things.
But, if you say that the FOP newsletter says they are helping disabled POs then it must be true.

The Alleged Officer Greco from 003, where are you I came there to meet you, I called the district, no you. You called everyone else a pussy and say they don't give their real name what’s yours? You seem to never be on the sheets do you really work in 003 or are you really Franelli and talking about everyone else being the pussy when you're really the pussy. We know that you're a liar, Franelli, Greco or whatever your name may be. No one knows you in 003, trust me I’ve asked, maybe you're light duty, the infamous medical abuser, is it furlough why are you or your name nowhere to be found on the sheets. I think maybe you're just the fag that everyone knows that you are Franelli or do you want to use the name Greco. I know that you’ve been too this site before and you will continue to come back, because one of your friends told me so, so stop lying just like the other guy has already said.

• By the way the FOP does more than you think for disabled officers, they are in a constant fight with the City actually they have a case going on currently and by the way, the committee members have met with President Emil Jones, Dorr with the city, Madigan more than once. You actually don't have the facts Roe or whoever you want to claim you are. You should ask some other disabled officer because you're out of touch and angry don't try to be-little what the FOP. I've been on disabilty for over 12 years now and this is the best FOP for us as far as I'm concerned
